HMs

as we all know HMs or Hidden Moves are special moves that help you get to certain places & pass through specific obstacles within the pokemon games. however after some discussion we've come to a conclusion that HM's aren't really necessary as pokemon that are large enough to fly could logically carry you around in the air & pokemon large enough can could also carry you in water. However that doesn't you can make a simple pidgey fly you to a faraway town, or any town. Also pokemon with the right amount of power would be able to move boulders like strength or crush smaller rocks like rock smash. For example, a Lapras would be able to carry someone around in the water. Also a Snorlax would also be able to move boulders & a Machamp also could break small rocks. A Pidgeot could easily carry someone around in the sky too, please be logical with this.
