Surrounded by trees, Professor Birch’s laboratory resides here where he hands out the three starter pokemon of the Hoenn region to new trainers. The town is very small and only a few homes are actually placed here, even so it’s a peaceful place to live.

Not a lot here in this town either, save for a pokecenter and pokemart which will aid in a trainers journey through the region. Like Littleroot town, it is a small and peaceful place to live and the town is surrounded by huge trees.

Surrounded by nature, Petalburg City’s population is a lot higher than the first two towns, mostly due to the normal type gym that resides in the city. The city is placed within a forest like area as there is a lot of trees around the edge of the city, there are also two ponds where water pokemon live in.

One of the largest cities in Hoenn this is the home of the rock type gym and the first one trainers challenge. There is also the Devon Corporation and the cutters house. The city has an urban theme to it despite the trees standing just outside the concrete.

Located on an island off the mainland of Hoenn, it is home to the fighting type gym and not much else, there isn’t even a pokemart here. The town is placed right on the sand and there is water surrounding one side of the town.

An urban harbour city surrounded by water, it is a huge city with lots of different things to do. Though there is no gym there is a contest hall, a market, oceanic museum, pokemon fan club, the beach and the battle tent. There is of course, also the harbour where the S.S Tidal docks.

A game corner and bike shop is two of the main places in this bright and colourful town, though clearly the electric type gym is the building which stands out the most. Of course along with those three buildings there are the standard Pokemart and Pokecenter.

Verdanturf Town only has one major building in the whole town beside from the pokecenter and pokemart and that is the normal type contest hall. The town is linked to Rustboro City by the Rusturf Tunnel.

Another small town, like Verdanturf Town there is only one major building in the whole town which is the Super Rank Contest hall. The soil is very fertile because of the high volume of volcanic ash scattered over the ground.

Located at the foothills of Mt. Chimney, Lavaridge Town is home to the another gym which specializes in fire type pokemon. The thing that makes this town famous though is the hot springs, a relaxing pastime which proves to be good for humans and pokemon alike.

A unique city where most of the buildings is built up in the trees, save for the flying type gym, pokemart and pokecenter. West of the city is the Weather Institute. Wild Kecleon seem to love this city and are often found wondering around the city.

The Master Rank Contest hall lives here, even though there is no gym it is still a large city. There is a huge department store here as well as an art museum. There is also a port here where the S.S Tidal stops off from Slateport City.

An Island City which is home to the psychic type gym which is also the second to last gym in Hoenn. On this island is a Space Center, perhaps the only other thing which is of any interest on the island save for the pokemart and pokecenter in the city.

A tiny little town if you can even call it that, built upon wooden structures held above the ocean, this little town suspended above the water has little to it. Save for the pokecenter in the centre of the town. It is close to the Sky Pillar, Mirage Island and the Sealed Chamber.

The only way to get into this huge and unique city is to fly and dive in, the city is built in an extinct volcano crater which has a lake made out of rainwater at the bottom. Sootopolis City is home to the final gym which specializes in water type pokemon.
