GAMBIT — INTIMIDATE; SHINX, MALE
Alex saved Gambit and Rogue from a group of pokemon-hating travelers (this was after Alex first used his portal abilities to travel to the pokemon world). He pulverizing the cruel travelers, and from then on Gambit and Rogue were officially Alex's first two pokemon. Gambit is a little overprotective of Rogue. He's acts like her bodyguard.
ROGUE — SYNCHRONIZE; EEVEE, FEMALE
Same story as above but Rogue is very calm in most situations. She's quite clingy to Gambit more than Alex because they're been together since they were babies.
ARES — FLASH FIRE; GROWLITHE, MALE
While on his first journey through the pokemon world (shortly after he met&caught Gambit and Rogue) Alex came across an abandoned pokemon egg which turned out to be a Growlithe! Ares is playful and absolutely loves messing with Gambit's face and tail.
KARMA — SAND VEIL; GIBLE, FEMALE
Karma was recently caught while Alex was exploring the Wayward cave in Sinnoh. She is always serious with an occasional small dose of laughter and humor (when around Cypher).
CYPHER — KEEN EYE; CHATOT, MALE
Cypher is more like an annoying mosquito that never goes away. He's extremely chatty when he's out of his pokemon. Even though Alex can't understand what Chatot is saying he tries his best to tolerate it.
