A chill ran down his spine as he analyzed his surroundings. To the left, a crowd. The right? A denser crowd. His bright eyes darted frantically to find a spot all his own, but between the noise and excited blurs, there was no sanctuary. Still, it felt wrong to stray too far from Soul though Xavier was around... somewhere. Thank Arceus for the man. He made his heart relax with his too serious attitude.
A small boom resounded through the plaza and the crowed erupted with excited cheers. Meters away, a pokemon battle heated up. If Samuel was a curious man, he would investigate the battle, tossing mental criticism as he saw fit, but curiosity did not exist in the Replica's bones. He wandered around, gritting his teeth as people flew past him. Some even touched him, encouraging the Raikou to follow while one tried to start a conversation. He smiled at the Zien. Though flattered by the attempt, Samuel was in no mood to converse. It would be noise added to the wave of high pitched sounds colliding into one another.
Looking up, Sam remembered his old friend--the sky, but as he glanced up, his grimace widened. Blue was rare above due to the massive clouds and blinding sun. Some would say it was a good day but Samuel would beg to argue. Though, arguing for him would entail mental comments, unheard unless you were a psyhic Replica. Not realizing his was still strolling at a sluggish pace, a girl tugged on him. She smiled at him while she wrapped his pant's leg around her small knuckle. Sam's cheeks turned red with embarassment. He scanned the area, determined to find the child's parents. Finally, he knelt to meet the girl on eye level. She giggled as she handed him something before sprinting away to grab the hands of a larger Zien, perhaps an uncle or father.
Sam looked at it. It was a party whistle, usually heard on festival's nights. He put one end in his mouth and blew through it, the curled tail expanded, jerking before curling again. The whistle drooped, hung only by Samuel's front teeth.
In a crowd, boredom could rage on.

_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ The fight was extremely lame and boring. Nothing happened, basically they only shouted lame orders at their pokemon and watched as nothing happened. Lame beasts couldn't even pull off a tackle, Oliver almost stepped into the fight to make things a tad bit better. He was distracted by something though, something out of the ordinary.
A sly smile placed itself on Oliver;s face as he spotted on of the fellow replica guards. Granted he didn't know Sammy very well, but he had seem him around the place. He even tried to talk to him once or twice only to realize that this guy failed at interaction with other people. It made the young guard laugh silently to himself. He definitely enjoyed watching him. So the only option was to follow him around a bit and just watch what he did.
Frankly he wasn't surprised at his actions. He caught the tail end of him trying to get a little girl to go away. Oliver smiled a little as he watched him do what most others did, instead of trying to reason with the kid, they tried to reason with an adult. He chuckled to himself and came up behind Samuel. "Now listen here." he started, putting on arm over Samuel's shoulders. He turned his head to slightly face the older guard. "that little girl probably thought you were cool or something." the azelf replica started, laughing a little at the end. It was funny to Oliver.
"So cherish the whistle, just don't put it in your mouth." friendly advice, even though it was a tad bit late. Who knows just where that little girl put that.

LYING ON YOUR DEATHBED ------------------------------------ It was a typical day. A typical, shitty day for Cass. Well, actually... it was better than running away. She still had scrapes and bruises from the last time that she needed to tend to before she got a whole new set. She decided to take it upon herself that day, leaving Lieu snug and safe inside his Pokéball. Her stormy eyes were shrewd and slitted coldly as she stumbled like a complete drunkard down the trail to the nearest town. Her sneakers scuffed the uneven ground as her hands reached out for leverage. Nothing. She took a tumble, grunting as her breath was stolen by the hard soil that struck her ribcage. Or maybe her ribcage struck the soil? She didn't fucking care. Her limbs moved, fingernails digging into the grass and earth, the toe of her sneaker stabbed the land to make a crude foothold. Her head was spinning. What was her damn problem? It felt like she was completely wasted because she couldn't find the energy to get up at all. Every futile attempt to lift her body from the cold floor resulted in her sinking down further.
Was that even possible? She reached weakly for her pocket where the small red and white capsules were. Lieu could help her, right? He could drag her the rest of the way. It felt like she was being held against the ground, but at the same time she felt incredibly lightheaded. "This... sucks."
Her vision blurred and everything looked blue and white. It looked open, like the sky. Wait... what? What kind of trippy ass hippy shit was this?! No longer did she have a grip on the earth, but rather she was falling down. The sky became larger the longer she stared at it. The sun peeked out of the corner of her vision and she was sure it was either a dream or she half a second from splattering all over the pavement. Her muscles locked, but a soft, although bony, cushion caught her. Or... broke her fall, at least. She was in a tangle of arms and legs and shit, she was unsure how she managed to get caught up in such a predicament, all she knew was that she faced it currently. "WHERE THE FUCK AM I?" Her shark eyes turned towards the males she had so politely fallen on, her head turning so she could glance at both of them, "AND WHO THE FUCK DO YOU ASSHOLES THINK YOU ARE? DID YOU DRUG ME? IS THAT IT?ASSHOLES." She managed to thrash around enough to attempt to land a fist on both of their arms. Fuck them. Sadly, as a replica, Samuel did not have super senses, but he could perceptive enough to hear footsteps. He could tell many thing from a tap of a pair of feet. Agitation, fear, happiness. It was the most natural thing for Samuel. Through the wave of footsteps, he picked out a quick one, cheerful and chipper but also confident. The Raikou started to draw a picture of the feet's owner. He saw a woman, light and lithe with a clever smirk. Then the footsteps grew louder before they halted all together.
His breath went slow, the whistle unraveling only a bit. The owner was right behind. Hopefully, she only paused to converse before waltzing away. "Now listen here." A voice spoke behind him. Completely, not female, but it didn't yell masculine. Samuel's head turned toward the man, but his body did not have time to follow because when the rough fingertips his shoulder, he froze for a second. Sam knew it was rude to stare, but the stranger's boldness startled him. In a few seconds, Samuel recognized the young man, sort of. Like him, he was a guard. Because of his age, Samuel assumed he was Heart's since he knew his own and Mind loved her rotting Guards.
"Really?" asked Samuel, muffled, as if that was the most impossible thing in Ziel. His listened to his advice and was going to speak, but the whistle absorbed his words, the tail blowing in the stranger's face. His hand plucked the party accessory out of his mouth and tucked it into an empty pocket. "So whistles aren't made to be whistled?" This time his tone held a teasing tone. "What do you suggest I do with it, besides let it collect lint in my pocket?"
Before he could go through the regular pleasantries of introducing and such, his eyes directed toward the sky. The air above felt strange, so he craned his neck upward. "What the?" Before he could finish the sentence, a silhouette formed above him. He blinked a few times before realizing that the shape was a woman. Things went black for a millisecond. The next second, he was tangled within a flurry of arms and legs. He noticed Oliver's arm above his face, but his leg was attached to another. A female one. The anger she spouted out startled Sameul as he struggled to find his feet. He was used to yelling but not with such fury. Still, he adjusted. It wasn't under a fist slammed into the arm. The strike pained him, but he didn't flinch. Fighting reactions caused his fists to swing forward, to grasp the flailing fists. Small sparks escaped his fingertips, but it wasn't enough to really affect. In fact, the girl might not even feel the energy.
"Please, ma'am. Calm down. You at the Starstruck Plaza."

_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ He gave Samuel a small glare, thinking of a witty comeback. He wanted to go with of course dumbass, but little girls off the street tend to have STDs, but he bite his tongue. The little girl was a tad bit too cute to mock like so. He just sat there, or leaned there more correctly for a bit, biting at his lower lip trying to think of a good comeback. He easily didn't expect it to rain girls today though.
Here is how it went, Oliver was just about to say something remarkable annoying and cool at the same time, but something landed on top of him. He lost his balance, and fell down to the ground, probably pulling the electric guard down with him. Maybe it was the other way around. Samuel could've pulled pulled down Oliver, but sadly that wasn't on Oliver's mind.
"Dude, raining ladies isn't good." he managed to mutter as he twisted and turned. The one girl was feisty, he would give her that, and she had a strong punch. He could still feel his arm throbbing a little bit, not like it bothered him, but still it wasn't nice. "how about we get your ass off my stomach first." he managed to say, shifting his position a little. He felt something hard collide with his elbow, it might have been Samuel's face or maybe even the hard ground. "and stop yelling at us, we are just as confuses as you." he snapped too. today was turning out weird, so fucking weird.

LYING ON YOUR DEATHBED ------------------------------------ She tagged both of them with her fist, she could feel it connect and feel the reverberations travel through her arm in the process. The girl hissed and clawed, but the more polite of the two restrained her arms. It felt like static when he grabbed her and she flinched, hissing like a serpent. Her stormy eyes fixed on the older of the two and decided she'd remind him she still had legs. However, before she could make up her mind to kick him in the face, the man she was sitting on began mumbling about getting off him. He snapped at her to stop yelling, which only pissed her off more. She tried to yank her hands free so she could punch his face in, "SHUT THE FUCK UP, HUH? AND I'LL MOVE WHENEVER THE FUCK I WANNA."
Her gray eyes turned their cold light onto Samuel again, "Starstruck Plaza? What kind of bullshit name is that? Kiddy shit, thats what it is." Her brow furrowed, mouth slightly ajar and her attention alternated between the two older men. She wanted answers and she wanted them now. As if hearing her distress call, a crack erupted from her side and her Aron molded in in midair. The steel-type narrowed his blue eyes at the man restraining his trainer, but stood stalk-still. "Don't worry, Admiral. They aren't hurting me, but this guy could do without the fuckin' light show.." She narrowed her steely eyes at Samuel, clearly unamused by the sparks that came off his fingertips and danced across her own skin. These boys, this predicament, she could do without all three. [/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote] ------------------------------------ WITH NO MEMORIES TO SAVE

Indeed, the woman mostly fell upon Oliver but that didn't stop multiple arms from dragging his down. He wondered if anyone noticed the girl, most of the crowd was too enthralled by the pokemon battle commencing. As the falling stranger turned her anger toward Oliver, Samuel took a good look at the woman, whose fists he still held. She wasn't a replica. Any guard could identify a replica instantly and she wasn' t a Zien since they usually had outrageous hair colors. Could this be a --?
The thought was cut off by more yelling and frankly, Samuel grew tired of it. On a bad day, it would have upset the guard more, but the replica took a deep breath, causing his crackling fingers to stop. His eyes went wide as the energy died, not realizing he was sparking in the first place. "Watch your arm," he said just before Olver's elbow knocked him the nose. Samuel growled for a few moments while he adjusted his head to avoid Oliver's weight. Apparently, Sam's comments had ignited some tension and the girl's yelling didn't help. It would have been a relief to just yell, but what good would that do?
"Starstruck Plaza? What kind of bullshit name is that? Kiddy shit, thats what it is." Surprise painted his paint. Most, if not all of Ziel, knew where and what Starstruck Plaza, with all the nighttime festivals here. "So you're a human?" Samuel said after many awkward moments of staring. He looked up wondering if this was how Soul entered Ziel. Then the flash of light revealed the upset Aron. When the human calmed her pokemon, he realized that he had killed his sparking but Cassandra's hands were still bound within his own. Embarrassed that he had held them so long, he released his grip. Struggling, he pulled his legs from the weight of the other two caught in the tangle. Then he stood, brushing dirt off his shoulders.
Looking at the two, the smart thing was leave them on the floor and find Soul or simply wander away as if a person hadn't fallen through the sky. Instead he first offered a hand to the human to help her up. Yes, he wasn't naive enough to think the spitting fire would actually take it, but perhaps a bit kindness would stop her unrelenting yelling though her words would just bite the hand. After a few moments, he offered his other hand to Oliver. Again, he expected the gesture to be denied, perhaps slapped as he dragged himself up.

_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ "my head hurts." Oliver mumbled, rubbing the side of his head. he continued to lay on the ground, watching as Samuel moved around over there. Great now this bitch was gonna be his problem Oliver thought to himself, staring up at the sky. He didn't know what to do anymore, so he just sat there and sighed, listening to the girl cuss out starstruck plaza and Samuel adding his own nonsense. A human really?
Yup then it struck him, she probably was. He instantly bolted up to a sitting position to look at the girl. She seemed oddly uncolorful, but not like a normal zien. He moved his face a little closer getting a better look at the girl. "dude are you really a human?" he asked surprised, titling his head a little. He didn't know about any other human besides Soul, talk about amazing. Not only that but she landed in his lap, he could be famous. The Azelf replica stared at her for a second, tapping his head slightly.
"How did you get here?" he asked. Oliver figured she didn't know, and she also fell from the sky. Falling from the sky must mean something right? Maybe she was an alien or something, aliens have appeared once or twice. "It doesn't tend to rain ladies very often here in Starstruck Plaza." Oliver noted to the feisty girl as he took Samuel's hand.
"sorry about hitting you." he said apathetically with a wave of his hand. He didn't really care much about if he hit him or not, he just learned some manners from Heart and Oliver put it to good use sometimes. He turned back to face the girl, she was ten times more interesting then the silly electric dog anyways.

LYING ON YOUR DEATHBED ------------------------------------ The two didn't seem to appreciate her screaming, but she appreciated the snappier of the two elbowing the polite one in the face. It was... quite amusing to say the least. But then he went to complain that his head hurt. Pussies. "So, you're a human?" Her stormy gaze snapped back to Samuel, what kind of silly question was that? She opened her mouth to speak, but was jostled sideways when the boy she was sitting on sat up. Her teeth sank into her tongue and she had half the mind to scream bloody murder and kick his face in. She sat, disorientated, in his lap for a few moments, his face mere inches from her face to investigate. Why did they keep asking if she was human? What? Was she growing a tail? Again, right before she was about to respond, a hand was shoved in her face. She slapped it away without missing a beat and pulled herself from the replica's lap, glaring at Samuel as she gave herself distance. If her Aron hadn't been her weight, she would have picked him up to act as a barrier between herself and the odd men. Sadly, he was.
"Of course I am,"
She responded monotonously, watching the boy on the ground grab the other guy's hand and get to his feet, muttering something about how it didn't rain women often. She lifted and eyebrow and offered dryly, "Why do you ask? Are you two ... aliens?" Another question. How did she get here? Well... she had no idea. "I was on the ground and then I blacked out and wound up on top of you bastards. W-what the fuck is going on?" She was ready to have a mental breakdown. Her eyes watered with bitter, salty tears that would never spill down her cheeks (simply because she'd never let that happen) and Admiral worked his way to prove a very, very tiny wall between the men and his woman. Normally she would have blown off this whole issue, but for a fact she knew the town nearest had no starstruck plaza. Something terrible had happened and now she was in potential danger. Arceus knows she was about to get raped and murdered by these two strangers. Damn, I'm fucked.[/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote] ------------------------------------ WITH NO MEMORIES TO SAVE

The more and more he looked at her, the more he believed it himself. It wasn’t much of a surprise when the girl slapped his hand. Samuel thought about snatching it away when she offered it to him. He didn’t keep it still for good first impressions. All hopes of that being a success flew out the window when the girl dropped on the pair of replicas. For a moment, he pondered why he offered his hand to her. Though he knew he was a “gentle” person, he didn’t think of himself as a gentleman. In the end, he decided that it was to indeed shut her up. When Oliver grabbed his hand, Samuel was stunned, expecting him to refuse it. The fought to keep a calm look about him. “It’s fine,” he said when Oliver apologized though he didn’t quite understand where the apology come from. Then his mind jumped back and forth to how he should respond. Awkward as could be, he said, ”I’m sorry too.”
”dude are you really a human?” Nodding, Samuel was glad that Oliver saw the human in her as well. Then he was not crazy. ”She must be. I wonder if she’s from…Johto. That place Soul dropped from.”
His eyes couldn’t stay off the girl. She was unlike anything he seen or heard with her black hair and spitfire combination. Usually the pinks nagged you while purples were just a pain in the ass. ”She must be with that hair.” Soon, with a lot of sass, the human confirmed what they both discovered. When the questions started getting asked, Samuel felt awkward, yet it was cruel not to supply them even though Oliver was more than capable. Still, he felt a sort of duty to the human. Still, he didn’t want to answer her. It wasn’t until he saw a sort of fear in her eyes. It was perfectly logical for the woman to have that since her world dumped, maybe abandoned, her in a foreign world. She deserved answers, no matter how fire she had in her. ”No, we’re not aliens. We’re replicas. Um, you’re in another world. Or at least, far away from the place you knew.” There it was, the best explanation he could provide. Samuel doubted it would not appease her, but the woman would have to adjust. [/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote]

_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ "I wish I was an alien." Oliver muttered, scratching at the back of his head. His mind started to race, thinking of all the stuff he could probably do with his own powers. He highly doubted she knew what a replica was, from what Oliver heard, the pokemon world just had pokemon. He figured it was lame, trainers and their pokemon. Immortals and replicas tended to make a better team in Oliver's mind. If it wasn't for Heart, he would have probably went to found an immortal to stalk or befriend. He smirked a little and used confusion on a couple rocks around his feet, his brown eyes getting outline in a deep red, and his body had a faint outline too. The rocks slowly started to circle his head. Yup Oliver was being a show off.
"Well you are in Ziel. It is a small little world, somewhere close to yours I do believe, considering some people drop in here. " yup he just contradicted samuel for a reason. Oliver wasn't the most helpful guy to land on and try and get direction from. "I don't think you can find your way back either." he blunted stated shrugging his shoulders. "But Sammy here can keep you companion, like a little guard dog." Oliver mused, leaning his arm over Samuel shoulder again. "I hear he is really good with the ladies."

LYING ON YOUR DEATHBED ------------------------------------ They seemed to contradict eachother, both in speech and physically. She just wanted to go back to Hoenn where she had come from and curl up on a motel bed somewhere. A dirty, run down rental place was better than this Arceus-forsaken place. Her stormy eyes wandered as awkward silence ensued. No one wanted to answer her questions. She focused on something elsewhere, like the growing, pulsing crowd of excited people who were watching two people pit their Pokemon against each other. A jab here, a flash of light there. The only thing that could take her mind off her predicament was how horrible their techniques were. Stop. Go. Stop. Go. Battling wasn't turn based, it was throw out orders and survive. Or at least, that was how she played that game. ”No, we’re not aliens. We’re replicas. Um, you’re in another world. Or at least, far away from the place you knew.” Her attention moved back to Sparky, who answered first.
"Replicas?"
It was overwhelming to say the least. The word barely had a chance to fall from her lips when the other boy acquired a faint outline; an odd, glowing aura. Her eyes widened like a deer in the headlights as several rocks loosened themselves from the soil and lifted up towards his head. What was this blasphemy? She stepped away from him fearfully, like a cornered mouse to a cat. But she didn't fight back, her hand lifted and held her Aron's prison shakily. She recalled him, for the sake of suffering alone only. She didn't want him to be subjected to possible con artists. Oliver contradicted Samuel completely, saying Ziel was just a hop, skip and a jump from Earth. More people from my world are here? What the fuck is this? He went on to say there was probably no way back. With an arm around the polite one, he offered Samuel up to her, stating he was really "good with the ladies".
She either didn't hear or was too overwhelmed to acknowledge the remark. Instead, hot, salty tears spilled from her eyes, no matter how many times she silently screamed in her head for them to stop. So she was stuck with these things forever? She twisted so her back was too them, trying to stifle her crying with slender fingers extending towards her eyelids to wipe them dry. She wanted to be back in the world where she was the strongest, most intimidating soul, not where she teetering on the bottom rung of the social ladder. "So,"
She said in a small voice, without facing them, "You can't help me get home? At all?" They'd better help her unless they wanted more waterworks.[/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote] ------------------------------------ WITH NO MEMORIES TO SAVE

“Replicas,” Samuel repeated, looking awkward. He was used to knowing what they were. The last time he explained the definition was seven years ago. Though he did not want to describe his race, he gave it a try. “They are like pokemon, but we’re in human forms. We can use attacks and have abilities.”
Samuel’s eyes darted around for many moments, wondering if there was anything to add to the explanation . “I’m Samuel, a Raikou Replica, and he’s--. Well’s he’s one too.” The Guard thought it was best for his fellow Replica to introduce himself. As far as he could tell, the other Guard was not that devoid of manners. A grimace swept across his fate when he noticed the rocks separated from the hard soil. Sam mentally groaned as Oliver showed his power to the confused human. It was certainly not helping the situation. He attempted to convey the message to stop with his eyes, but obviously, Oliver was too amused by his own antics to pick up the message. Annoyed, Sam rose a hand and smacked at the rocks, bracing for any pain if his palm or fingers connected. But the Guard couldn’t stop it. A sick feeling coursed through his body when her eyes turned into fear and she recalled her pokemon. His mind jumped left and right, searching for something encouraging to say. Then Oliver spoke again, messing thing up more. To be honest, Samuel didn’t know that much, but he wasn’t about to let his lack of knowledge upset the girl anymore. All this conversation was painful enough, so he wasn’t in any mood to directly contradict Oliver. “He’s such a joker. It’s not every day that a human drops in, but it has been done. I’m not one hundred percent positive, but I’m sure you can get home. See, I’m a Guard and I protect a human, like yourself. Of course, our wandering friend here knows someone that might be able to help you.” His tone pointed straight at Oliver. The old dog commented caused Samuel to wish the replica away, but there was no way the Raikou would just let him walk away like that, especially when he could help the girl get home better than Samuel could. He didn’t think Oliver really could leave. Yes, the girl was insanely rude but didn’t the Replica had a hint of compassion. Part of Samuel told himself it was a duty to Soul to help this human, but the other side of him searched for a clearer reason. [/blockquote] [/blockquote] [/blockquote]

_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ Okay, maybe Oliver went a little too far. He didn't expect the girl to start crying, here in Ziel it was perfectly accepted to have floating rocks by your head. Seeing a replica use confusion was like seeing a rock in water. Why did Sammy have to try and swat the rocks out of the air, or why did the girl start to back away like a rodent fearing for it's life. He sighed helplessly and ran a hand through his jet black hair. He bite the bottom of his lip, and glanced at the ground, slowly moving his left hand back and forth. "Aw shit." he muttered, looking up to catch a couple of tears drop from her eyes. Okay, the Azelf replica might act like jerk, but he could not take the water works. It remind him too much of kids.
"look, don't cry please." he stated lifting his head up, and putting a small smile on his face. He took a couple steps closer to the strange girl, when she turned her back. He titled his head a bit and glanced over her should. Yup she really was crying. "Come on, we can find a way to get you back." he added, making a mentally note to kick Sammy the next possible time he could. How dare the other replica claim Oliver knew what to do. Didn't he know the Oliver only ever did what he was told by Derek or somebody. "I am sure there is a way."
He keep the smile on his face as he walked around Cass. He brought on of his hands up to her face, and tried to wipe some of the tears from her face. "Currently a throne is human. She fell from the sky too you see. That guy." he said now point to Samuel. "He guards her like a good little dog. He might know a little more then me." False, already Oliver had a plan in his head. From what he had over heard, The pokemon world wasn't that far away. You just needed the portals to open up a gate way. He wasn't going to mention that for the sake of Heart. It was a tough job, most people said, and there was no way he would put Heart through the strain of opening a portal. No way in hell.

LYING ON YOUR DEATHBED ------------------------------------ This time, with the waterworks in motion, she got much more forward answers and quicker responses. Her replica question? Answered in a flash by the more polite of the two. Humanoid Pokémon? So basically they were an ugly bunch a' people with the ability to breathe fire and swim well and shit? Lame. The guy was named Samuel and he was a Raikou replica. She thought about it for a while. So he hailed from Johto, maybe?Didn't those Ecruteak idiots run around screeching about a tower that was erected for Lugia, but then a lightning bolt hit the tower and burn down? And then the other legendary chicken flew over and resurrected three legendary beasts representing the lightning that hit the tower, the fire that burned it down and the rain that put it out?
A cute fairy tale was all that was.
He then swatted at the other boy's trick show with his hand like a cat batting at a piece of yarn. Silly. Frivolous. She hated both of them. When the tears spilled down her cheeks, they seemed a lot more willing to do something for her than before. Samuel began word vomiting everywhere about how Oliver could help her. She whipped around so they could no longer see her crocodile tears and she purposefully ignored whatever mumbling Oliver was doing in exchange for her own pathetic sniffling. However, the Azelf walked around and put a hand to her face to wipe away the tears. She stiffened visibly when he touched her cheek, but didn't kick him in the nuts or anything gruesome like that. He began spewing something about thrones (what the fuck?) and humans and Samuel being able to help.
