Well this certainly was an interesting battlefield. Soul was standing on the length sides of the arena where her battle would soon take place. To say the least it was a well constructed and thought out field, with a mixture of ground and water, perfect for those land dwelling pokémon and for aquatic pokémon as well, though she wasn’t sure that the clear ponds of water were that deep, not enough to completely submerge a creature over five foot at least. She couldn’t really tell considering she was on the side lines, simply gazing out at the mixture of grass and pools, the battlefield themed like a swamp of sorts though it didn’t seem muddy at all down there. Folding her arms across her chest, Soul silently took in the battlefield, pondering over which pokémon she could use here or which ones she wanted to send out on this three verves three match. The six tiny spheres were located in her dungarees pockets at the moment, three in each side and the crimson and ivory capsules were in their small forms making them easy to carry around. She had to put them in her pocket anyway, it wasn’t like she had a belt o a bag with her at the moment, plus a belt probably wouldn’t look so good with her blue and red outfit.
Caramel eyes scanning the duel battlefield, Soul at least decided on what pokémon she was going to use first, feeling positive that the one she had chosen was the right one to start off the match between herself and Silver. Now all she had to do was get to her side of the field and wait for her redhead opponent to get here. Thankfully she wasn’t an incredibly impatient young woman, though at the moment she was feeling a little bit frustrated, she really wanted to get battling after all, she didn’t want to stand here and wait for ages! Glancing towards the doors, Soul let out a small sigh and walked very slowly to her side of the battlefield, her red shoes scuffing against the ground slightly as she dawdled, taking her sweet time to get to the opposite end of the field, who knew how long she would be waiting. As soon as she took her position she found she had nothing better to do then look around the colosseum, filled with empty seats and an open top roof, letting the sunlight pour down on the battlefield, a couple of fluffy white clouds were visible in the sky. She preferred that the seats were empty, this was a match just for her and her opponent after all, this arrangement thrown together for a bit of training and in her eyes, a bit of fun.
How long had it been, seconds, minutes or even an hour? Whatever it was she was bored of sitting around doing nothing, well, more like standing around doing nothing. A shiny crimson and ivory sphere was held in her right hand as she silently fumbled with it, trying to keep her patience under wraps. She had been looking forward to this match after all, stupid Silver, being late and keeping her waiting! He should totally let her have the first move when he got here, out of guilt for keeping her standing here for so long. Unfortunately Soul very much doubted that the redhead would be even that tiny bit generous towards her. However as soon as she heard the doors creak open, which caused her to jump a little considering she hadn’t been expecting it, Soul quickly glanced up from the water and grass of the battlefield to look up at the double doors, hoping that it was Silver to spare her from the boredom of the waiting game.

"the coldest blood runs through my veins" "you know my name"
Twirling rapidly on the base of his index finger was the red and white patterned sphere at its intended size. There was no need to hesitate on which Pokemon he would choose first. Any one of them would point him in the direction towards victory anyway. The spinning round object soon lost its momentum and before it could lose its balance on his finger, he quickly flicked it lightly into the air, catching it like the professional he is. The red-headed teen continued down the long and gloomy hallway, its only light source coming from the small lamps mounted along the walls, emitting a dim glow. How come the constructors of this place ever build a hallway that gave a trainer a sense of confidence or something that would a positive energy before his or her battles? Were they trying to intimidate them? Not like he was scared or low on confidence. No way, it takes a lot more to scare a person like Silver.
A draft suddenly brushed against his light-toned skin, indicating he was nearing the battlefield. Today, he would be battling against Soul. Interesting. Not interesting enough, though because he could already foresee his victory. She would be just like any other trainer he's defeated before. Nothing else, nothing out of the ordinary. Just another regular battle he would surely win without much of a struggle. Or maybe a little exercise training for a new member of his team. Yes, that is how confident Silver was feeling at the moment. In fact, he was so full of confidence, he even allowed a small and cocky smirk to curve his lips. The rare moment of a change in his usual apathetic expression was sadly short lived. His smirk disappeared as though it was never there as the large wooden doors automatically creaked open, slowly but surely.
And there she stood, with her own Pokeball in hand, his crimson eyes connecting its gaze with her brown pairs. While he was taking time to foreshadow his victory in his slow walk down the halls, he must have kept her waiting. Che, whatever. It's her fault for arriving so early. What caught his eye moments later was the field choice. From what he could tell, the mixture of ground and water created an equilibrium for a swamp-type battlefield. Perfect. It wasn't too wet, but it wasn't too dry. Not that it really distorted his chances of winning. After a brief moment of taking in his surroundings, he casually made his way towards his side of the broad field across from Soul. "Hmph." One could possibly call that some sort of a greeting, but it would be hard to categorize it as polite or friendly; especially coming from a person like Silver.
With a light toss, the round object was thrown from his hand, a white light shielding the hidden Pokemon which was soon revealed to be a Honchkrow as soon as the bright glow subsided. The black bird stretched its wings consisting a mixture of a dark shade of blue and crimson feathers, revealing its great wingspan. A high pitched cry emitted from its beak, though a bit higher than most Honchkrows, indicating it was female. Its red eyes slightly mirrored Silver's as she glared into the caramel eyes of the opposing trainer, ready at whatever her opponent had to throw at her. It's a bit hard to tell, but a sly smirk could be seen at the distance Silver was at. The bird Pokemon was highly pleased her trainer chose her for this battle first rather than the other ones in Silver's party.
Now, Silver and his Honchkrow were the ones left waiting to see what Pokemon she had in store for the pair.

It had took him long enough to get here, sure she had arrived a few minutes early but he was still late and to no surprise, the redhead didn’t bother uttering an apology. He was so rude! Kept her waiting and didn’t bother to utter a single word to her, no greeting, no apology, nothing! Soul couldn’t help but frown ever so slightly; apparently all she was worth was a small grunt like noise, it infuriated her and also made her slightly interested all at the same time. For seven years she had been used to over the top greetings, being sucked up to and generally being treated with the upmost respect for almost all the time she had been a throne, apart from the few who didn’t like her but they still showed some form of acknowledgement that she was there, even if their greetings had been insulting. Silver had done neither and in her eyes, shrugged her off as if she was nobody of importance, like he didn’t give a shit that she was a throne or someone who was classed as important in the world of Ziel. She liked it that he had treated her as if she were a normal person to him, even if he was rude.
Soul was even more surprised when he tossed the pokéball into the air, revealing a very familiar flying and dark type, a Honchkrow. Ironic considering she herself owned one as well, though she didn’t have any intention on using her own duel type bird to start off with. Corbin may be sent out later though, she wasn’t exactly sure on who she was going to send out after her first choice in this three on three battle. She was sure though that her hot headed Honchkrow would be more than happy to battle he was pretty aggressive after all, Soul decided she’d just have to wait and see what Silver sent out after his female Honchkrow was defeated before deciding on her next choice. “Since you were late, I’m going to go first.” She announced and quickly sprang into action, not waiting to see if Silver rejected her decision or not. Squeezing the glossy surface of the capsule she felt the sphere expand in size to its true appearance, instead of the small portable size that she had previously kept it in. With a swift and skilled throw, years of practice, the crimson and ivory sphere split into two pieces only held together by the hinge at the back, a dazzling silver and glowing white light poured out of the capsule, spilling out onto the ground in an all too familiar form.
A cheerful cry escaped the blue aqua mouse as Estelle was released from her pokéball, the Marill being the first choice to battle. The cute and round water type gazed up at the Honchkrow with curiosity before tensing her body, realising that she was being sent out to battle. Soul hardly noticed a small smirk appearing on her calm features as she glanced over at Silver, she bet he thought it was typical of a girl to send out a cute little harmless looking pokémon. Of course she and Estelle had been together for years and she had the utmost confidence and trust that her little Marill was more than capable of taking out one of Silver’s pokémon. Despite being clumsy as hell, Soul knew Estelle could pack a pretty big punch if she wanted to. Her caramel eyes slipped away from Silver and turned her attention on the battlefield and the two pokémon occupying the space. It was about time to get this battle started.
“Estelle, start off with Rain Dance!” Not wasting anytime or hesitating, her bubble-like tail shone a brilliant and dazzling light blue as she began her first move, summoning the weather to change so that water type moves would be more powerful. Soul glanced up at the open roofed and watched with satisfaction as dark and gloomy clouds covered the colosseum, rain slowly starting to patter down onto the battlefield, causing the small ponds dotted around to burst into ripples as the droplets of water hit the surface. Estelle clearly liked the rain as it started to cascade down from the rainclouds a lot stronger, the aqua mouse letting out a cry of success and excitement. “Hydro Pump!” She ordered, she gathered she better not waste the power of the Rain Dance and try and fit in some good water moves, especially when their powers were boosted. Also, she needed to get that Honchkrow down from the sky. The Marill took in a quick breath before firing the Hydro Pump from her mouth, the jet of powerful water raged towards the Honchkrow attempting to hopefully slam into the opponent and deal some hard damage which was helped even more by the pouring rain.
