Despite Nate's lack of courage and his tendency to get very fidgity when in situations he's rather unsure of, Nate is actually rather BOLD, when he's strongly against something he will often surprise those around him by blurting out his opinion. He sometimes shows sparks of a bit of bravery in himself, but incidents such as those are rare occurrences and normally end up with Nate doing something reckless and becoming the damsel in distress. Another one of Nate's more positive traits is his GENTLE-NESS. He cares for everyone around him; both human and Pokemon, and he often places the care and safety of others before his own. Despite how he may put his self in danger he always means well and would never want one of his friends to get injured because of something he does. Aside from being gentle, Nate is also rather JOYFUL, he may be rather emotional, but he tries to keep cheerful as often as he can. Though he's easily broken when things start to turn against him. He's the kind of guy who would much rather make a lot of friends, then make any enemies at all. He just wants to make people happier and not fight at all.

Quite a few things like in the negative selection of Nate's personality. To begin with he is rather NAIVE, he hasn't had the complete exposure to the world that most people his age have had and thus is constantly question even simple things. He hasn't completely gained a complete knowledge of his own surroundings, and he often falls for the scams that others toss at him. A surprising fact about Nate is he is surprisingly UN-ORGANIZED. He's very opted to lose things that are still in his hands and he often misplaces things in his home.

Nate isn't exactly the kind of guy who's going to have his strengths outweigh his weaknesses. For one thing the white-haired Mesprit replica is an extreme WEAKLING. When put into a situation in which he's forced to fight face-to-face with an opponent he's more likely to freeze up than be able to fight it. Nai is also rather EMOTIONAL about situations. No, he's not likely to become angry easily, but he is very likely to start crying over the tiniest things. He doesn't have any control over his emotions, whatsoever. Another one of his weaknesses is his GULLABILITY. There isn't much that Nate won't fall for; he's the kind of guy who gets kidnapped by the strangers who offer little children candy. He never quite grasped the whole, don't talk to strangers issue even though he's finally reached young adult, he'still has much of this gullibility. Standing side by side with his gullibility is the fact that Nate is rather NAIVE. He doesn't have a good understanding of many things in the world and he has the supposed innocence of a young child. Now who would want to break a person like him?
His sense of HEARING is also much more superb compared to other humans, replicas, and zeins, pretty much more superb to everyone elses hearing, as he can hear things much farther away than a normal person. Although it's considered a strength, Nate doesn't think as much because he doesn't like being able to constantly hear the things that others can't. It makes him feel set apart from the others when he can hear things nobody else can. Another one of his strengths is his surprising FLEXIBILITY, because of his extreme lack of physical strength his flexibility allows him to better defend himself.

Most of Nate's skills aren't easily seen from the surface or during the first glances. A gift granted by his Pokemon counterpart has also granted him with powerful PSYCHIC POWERS. While he may not have the best skills in sports, and he can't read very well, Nate also has excellent OBSERVATION skills.
