OOC - i'll just assume double battle are allowed at the trainer house i'm teh admin i can make it happen
"Sweet victory, Cassiel." Platinum glanced at her Empoleon and flashed him a smile. He finished off his foe with a Drill Peck, which was very effective against bug type pokemon. Although she had to admit, the Beautifly she was battling was a pokemon she underestimated. It knew a lot of unexpected attacks, like Morning Sun and Solar Beam. The butterfly pokemon even paralyzed Cassiel earlier in the battle. It's a good thing Platinum took advantage of when the pokemon was charging up the Solar Beam, or else Cassiel would've been done for. "You deserve a good rest, I'll take you straight to the pokemon center." She said while returning her pokemon to his pokeball. Platinum had never really been to another region besides Sinnoh. Prof. Rowan was awfully nice to offer her a trip to Kanto. There was many pokemon she never saw before, and lots of tough trainers. Tough trainers. Those two words brought her to the Trainer House faster than Pearl to any Arceus knows what destination. "Or...... I could take on another challenger...?" She released both Saga and Jett from their pokeballs. She hadn't used them much lately.
She raised an eyebrow at the woman at the counter. "It would be okay, right? I mean I have more pokemon!"
Well, not really. Platinum had battled a lot of trainers. Her pokemon were getting a bit tired but Platinum couldn't help it. Perhaps she's been hanging around with Pearl too much. He was all about battling. The lady only smiled weakly. "If you can find another challenger, I guess so but it looks like they're occupied in other battles..." Platinum nodded slowly. "Oh... I see well, I'm sure it won't be too long until one becomes available..." Platinum had no choice but to sit on a bench with Saga and Jett beside and wait for someone to battle. "<You know, Platinum you might as well go find trainers somewhere else.>" Jett yawned. "<I mean this place looks pretty packed.>" Saga just stayed silent and glanced constantly at Platinum. He never was much of a real talker, especially around public areas. "I could, but Prof. Rowan wants me to come back pretty soon so I can't go too far off." She sighed. "Maybe I should find Pearl or something, I mean he's always looking for a rematch." She took her hat off and placed it on her lap. It was warmer here than she thought. Platinum was wearing a nice pink coat with long sleeves. She did take the boat from SnowPoint City after all. "<Hopefully you won't die from heat in here, although I' surprised you never do since you're such a hot head. Hehe.>" She scoffed and mumbled her words. "Very funny, Jett. Luxa's rubbing off you...." [/blockquote][/blockquote]

His joints ached. He wasn't sure if it was from walking around for two days straight or if he was getting old. Often more times than not, he struggled to remember how old he was anyways. Arceus, it wasn't like they had calenders up on Mount Silver, let alone clocks. The little yellow ball on his shoulder shifted uncomfortably on top of the bony surface, piping up in an obnoxious tone. The Pikachu was insisting they checked out the trainer house and all the "losers" inside. Red had dismissed the name calling with a wave of his hand, arguing that they should get to the Pokémon Center and just relax. Of course, the Pikachu would have none of that business. Quick as a flash, the slight pressure on his left shoulder disappeared and the little Electric-type was bolting down the path towards the building. His tail waved back and forth with each light footed step, always being at least a few feet from his pursuing trainer. Dammit Pikachu! Was the only thought replaying over and over in his brain as he dove for the mouse. The creature squirmed from his seeking fingertips, the static worming through his fur sending jolts of electricity through the boy's hands.
This was... incredibly embarrassing.
He swallowed the hard lump in his throat and staggered to his feet, sputtering out dirt as he did. In the corner of his vision, the rat was waving his paws at Champion, goading the boy to come after him. Seizing the opportunity, the boy began lumbering forward. The Pikachu leaped into the training facility just as the boy came close enough. This was stupid, he should've just walked off and left the Pikachu to get captured by some disgruntled fellow who lost three matches in the trainer house, but Red wasn't that cruel. He followed the Pokémon inside and saw some girl talking to what appeared to be the receptionist. <Oh shit.> The Pikachu took the words right out of his mouth. Actually, it wasn't like Red was a man of too many words anyways-- so he probably would have kept that in anyways. <Did we die? Am I in heaven?> The mouse asked, looking up at Red, <I mean look at that babe.>
Booted. Kicked right in his electric-producing hide. The mouse tumbled forward onto his face, grinning like an idiot. The Champion pulled the brim of his cap downward, as if to hide his face and silently urged the Pikachu to take the lead. Obligingly, the electric mouse sprang at the opportunity to approach the girl and her two Pokémon. Red approached the bench timidly (or at least as timidly as someone who dismembered team rocket could be). "Uh... hi." He mumbled awkwardly, scuffing the toe of his sneaker against the linoleum floor, his crimson eyes looking at hers for only a moment before he focused his full attention on the Pokémon. "You... wanna have a battle?"

OOC - forgive for not posting sooner D8? gotta love teasing platina though, right?
While Platinum was simply just sitting on the bench, alone with her pokemon, like an idiot she noticed an 'off' vibe coming from Saga. Platina was very connected to her pokemon, so you could say she could "sense" what was wrong with her pokemon. Hey Saga...? What's up?"
Platinum leaned over to look at the grass pokemon's face which just held a cold stare, although it wasn't transfixed on her. "<Uhh I think he's not liking our, well, future company Platinum...>" Jett motioned his head over to the pikachu that was approaching them, along with its trainer. "Well Saga never liked strangers, Jett. I mean he even recently got used to Pearl now." It was true. Saga was still somewhat glaring at the the boy with his pokemon. "Saga." Platinum gave a light kick to her pokemon. Sometimes those glares caused some serious problems. "<Pshhh awww.. I think he feels a little jealous, poor thing. I mean....>" Jett came a bit closer to Platinum. "<...don't you think he looks fine? Huh, Platina?>" He raised his eyebrows and gave a wicked smile. Platinum sprung up immediately, her eyes lit up with rage and face changed into a slight shade of crimson. "Not funny Jett!" Platinum quickly sat back down. That must've been embarrassing. "Err... Hey. Sorry if you saw all of that." She hated causing a scene. It was really embarrassing. "<Oh damn, she's sizzlin'.>" Jett cooed quietly. Platinum threw him a kick. He really needed to be quiet right now. Quickly, she tried to grasp onto a different topic. "A battle, right?" She smiled briefly before Saga suddenly cut in. "<.... Shouldn't you heal your pokemon first?.... I mean Cassiel was sort of pretty beat up....>" He said with a low and gruff tone. "Oh, relax. We can just do double battle. You and Jett will do fine." She turned back to the young man. "You don't mind, right? Unless you're not ok with it." It was a bit weird, since he seemed like he didn't talk much. Most of the trainers Platinum met were either full of pride like Pearl or friendly like Diamond. This guy was a bit different. [/blockquote][/blockquote]

He felt incredibly awkward. Not because he had a boner or anything, but because the girl's Roserade was staring at him funny. He almost looked bitter at his arrival. Either that or Red was crazy. Probably the latter. Pikachu would probably claim that the pretty figure sitting on the bench just a few feet away had made him go blind and mad. The girl, as he was approaching, told her Ice-type that Saga (presumably the Roserade) had trouble getting used to strangers anyways. He was a stranger. Well shit, he was halfhearted to get any closer at the risk of getting attacked by the rather angry looking fellow. Then the girl kicked her glaring Pokémon, bringing back memories of Hoenn and meeting Leaf out on the water. Pikachu must've remembered it too, his tiny paws kept moving towards the lovely lady, but he cast a glance over his shoulder at the smirking boy.
Not only did he catch that little movement, but he heard her Glaceon talk about him. 'Doesn't he look fine'? The Pokémon asked the blue-haired woman. He saw her become incredibly embarrassed and jumped up to settle the score with the dog. Which was good because Red didn't want the girl noticing the scarlet hue that rolled across his cheeks for a few seconds. Deep down, he knew he shouldn't get flustered by the response to the gossip, but she was quite the cute character. Wait, no. He was the Kanto Champion. He didn't have time for romance, let alone find some attraction in some kid! ...But he couldn't help himself. He cleared his throat when she sat down and began talking again, apologizing about "that".
He shrugged it off with a chuckle, trying to refrain from speech to avoid the ugliest of conversation stoppers: the word vomit. Red felt like a child. "It's fine, really." Her Glaceon cut in again and Platinum gave him the boot. Again. Oh, how his Pikachu could sympathize. The topic was changed immediately following it. Well, it was put back on topic. Something about a double battle and if he was alright with it. He was about to respond, but he was immediately interrupted by the Electric Mouse. <Oh!> The electric-type jumped onto the bench beside Platinum, his beady eyes shimmering with affection, <How could ye ask Red to engage'n a battle with such a beautiful lady? He'd much rather engage ye'n inter-..>
Red's stare made the Pikachu trail off with a wicked smile. The trainer wished he was out on the water route again so he could kick the stupid rat into a body of water and let him drown. "Uhm... right then." With his pride injured, he completely ignored the rat's true false statement and pulled a Pokéball from his belt. "A double battle it is. I'll be using Pikachu and Venusaur, if thats okay with you." He threw the ball, releasing the leafy dinosaur who blinked sleepily at his trainer and then at the girl and her team. Oh shit, a fight?[/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote]

OOC - yaay i actually like my post! naughty jett is naughty
Platinum was relieved that she didn't get the worse reaction from him. The girl thought she could resume to her once bored and calm state before the boy's pikachu started to talk. The electric mouse suddenly looked at her intently with beaming eyes. What the pokemon said threw her off a bit. She couldn't help but let her tongue loose. "Excuse me....?" The yellow mouse never finished its sentence, and maybe Platinum probably didn't want to know what the rest of it was. At first she was secretly a little flattered with what the pikachu was saying, you know her being a beautiful lady and all. Usually she was used to harmless names and 'insults' by Pearl.
After the mouse was cut off the boy picked up the conversation a bit. Now things were getting a bit interesting. Platinum was a bit glad she was going to get that battle she wanted earlier before she had to go back to see Prof. Rowan. Platinum felt she was in a more comfortable position when the boy had sent out one of his other pokemon. It was a large green pokemon with an incredible flower on its back. Although its eyes seemed a bit dull Platinum took notice of its thick legs. Surely this pokemon would be slow, but pack quite a punch. Cassiel himself wasn't fast, on land anyway, but he had some powerful attacks.
"Great. Like I said before I'll use Saga and Jett, my Glaceon and Roserade." She looked down at her pokemon who remained sitting in their positions. "You heard me." Jett looked a bit upset. "<Hey we just sit down for like what, five seconds, and you're gonna scold us for being lazy? Platina you need to chill.>" He rolled his eyes a bit before getting up, mumbling more words under his breath, and heading towards a more open area for a battle. As he passed the boy, he shot him a quick wink. Saga looked back at Platinum who raised an eyebrow at the rose pokemon. "Hey he's like that because of your mischievous and dark influence." She glanced at her challenger. "You want to have the first move, or do you want to leave the honors to me?"

They didn't make out. It was unfortunate, but better than her running out screaming. Pikachu had certainly unnerved her with that unfinished statement, she'd even questioned it. Which sucked. At least for the embarrassed Red. 'Excuse me...?' Those words made him want to leave. Pikachu had made this whole confrontation completely awkward and he didn't want to explain how the mouse was hinting to having intercourse together. It was awful! Terrible! Dumbfounding! Oh Arceus, if only the subject would change faster. Luckily for him, it didn't take much to get her to forget about the situation, or at least go along with his drastic subject change. Wait, did she change the subject? He was too busy thinking to comprehend what was really going on. Most of his thoughts consisted of damn she's hot or fuck you, Pikachu.
He swallowed his pride, his attraction to her and his complete embarrassment as the battle talk started up again. She indicated to her Roserade and Glaceon, the obvious opponents of that evening. Of course he already knew who he was up against-- not that he had specifically overheard her say to her Pokémon that they were going to double battle. She sort of had to snap her lazy Pokémon to attention. Arceus, they looked pitiful, sitting there like dead weight. Several whines later, the two got up, the Glaceon winking at him as he went by. Red stared blankly at the ice-type, utterly confused at what the hell that was supposed to mean. Hopefully, though, the Glaceon wasn't hinting to anything weird with it (although it probably was anyways).
The boy, with an easy-going (an attempt to smother his boyish nervousness around the girl) chuckle, backed away to clear some space for the battling Pokémon. She looked up at him and he tried to hold her gaze, but found himself looking down at his sneakers as she asked if he wanted to start off. "Uh... s-sure?"
He motioned for his Venusaur and Pikachu to take the stage. The size difference was incredible. "A-Alright. Venusaur, use Razor Leaf, Pikachu... use Iron Tail." He said quietly, wanting so desperately to go easy on her. He didn't want her to get hurt in the crossfire. His Venusaur glanced back at him in confusion to the hesitation in his voice. Without actually questioning his trainer, he shook his large, blue body. Several leaves lifted from the leafy body, flying straight for the Glaceon. Meanwhile, the mouse darted forward, letting out a battle cry as his tail turned a steel gray color. The Pikachu leaped up and twisted, trying to hit the Roserade on the head with the attack.[/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote] ------------------------------------ & I'LL BE THE FIRST ONE TO LOSE MY HEAD

OOC - rarara. attack description failure D:
Inside Platinum actually felt a little pumped up for this battle. Well, it was natural for a pokemon trainer to be anyway. The battle looked promising though, mainly because of her challenger's choice of pokemon. The size differences between the two pokemon were quite obvious while Platinum's pokemon were relatively the same. Jett and Saga were able to move swiftly due to their light weight and flexibility. The Venusaur could be a real problem, which is why the girl began to stir up anything she could use against large. Frankly, she was a bit out of luck. She'll just have to do her best with who she had right now.
The battle began with her opponent giving the first attacks. Venusaur swayed it's rather big body to lash out several leaves at Glaceon. Clearly the leaves were much bigger up close. Jett cried out in surprise as he was hit. Saga too had received damage from the pikachu's iron tail that landed on his head. He staggered back a bit with a very unpleasant and sour look on his face. Saga quickly regained his previous position ready for Platinum's command. Platinum decided to use Saga's swiftness against pikachu. "Alright Saga use Leech Seed!" Small seeds began to sprout from from the pokemon's 'roses' and he threw his arms forward to aim the seeds towards the lightning rodent.
"Jett, give Venusaur a nice Ice Fang." After shaking off the pain from the previous razor leaf Glaceon ran towards the big grass pokemon. As he circled in on Venusaur Glaceon opened it's mouth to reveal it's fangs equipped with raw ice power and aimed at Venusaur's own head. It would probably be stupid to try for the legs, since the pokemon seemed slow anyway and there was a lot of bulk in the way too.

He could practically feel the energy that his Pokémon had as they charged forward (or stood there; whatever). Red practically forgot about the pretty girl standing across the room, calling out orders with the gentle voice she owned. His Pikachu streaked forward like a bullet and per usual, hit his mark without missing a beat. The tail struck and then he twisted, propelling himself through the air like a missile. He landed on his paws with a small distance between himself and the Roserade. Leech Seed was the first move called from the opposing side. "Move!"
Every muscle in the Pikachu's body tensed and he bolted sideways. He slipped across the linoleum floor in his panicked movement, skidding off his toes in the process. "Chuuu!" The mouse scrambled to his feet again, waving his tail. His sides heaved with effort, determination clear in his black eyes. Red was so busy focusing on Pikachu that he forgot about Venusaur. The dinosaur roared in pain when the cold fangs pierced his hide, causing the facility to rumble and quake. "Shit! Grab Glaceon and throw 'im!" Two vines spilled out from under the foliage on the dinosaur's back. With an infuriated growl, the tendrils slithered towards the beast's face, angry limbs searching for anything to grab onto. If the Glaceon continued to hold tight, it could mean permanent scars for the Venusaur, but he didn't care. For Arceus's sake, he was getting brain freeze! He swatted and tried to wrap his vines around the Eeveelution's middle and toss him right back at Platinum. Hopefully, she knew how to catch-- or that damn dog knew how to release it's prey. "Quick Attack, now!" His attention was on Pikachu again. His heart was picking up a steady- yet hasty- rhythm. He too was getting into this battle. Red wasn't quite as flustered or self-conscious of how he looked commanding his Pokémon at that point in time, more worried about winning. Yeah, he went from worrying about her safety to becoming a complete airhead who only cared about winning. The Kanto Champion was picking on some little girl just so he could win. Arceus, he should just go pick on new trainers on route one. Arceus. The Pikachu, worried about succumbing to a Leech Seed, kept his eyes fixed on his foe as he bolted forward. A white trail lagged behind the mouse as he flew forward, looking more like a yellow blob than an electric rat. ooc; uwahdsn :<[/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote] ------------------------------------ & I'LL BE THE FIRST ONE TO LOSE MY HEAD

OOC - not sure whether quick attack was to saga or jett, but seeing as jett was sent flying i guess it was saga again. -fails again- i'll change it if it's wrong though
Platinum felt she was off to a good start. Seeing the pikachu run about in panic at first made her feel a bit more confident. She would be able to take advantage of the fact the pokemon were beginning to get unorganized, however she was mistaken. Of course, the poor girl had no idea who she was up against. Originally from the Sinnoh region, she never did wonder about other regions at all. Platinum needed to come up with something better. She thought that maybe she could drain the rodent's energy by using leech seed so she could focus on taking down the massive hybrid of a dinosaur and plant.
Speaking of which, Venusaur had wrapped its vines around Jett in attempt to release itself from the Glaceon's fangs. Of course, Jett could only hang on for so long until he was sent flying towards his trainer. Platinum didn't realize that Jett was flying towards her until the Glaceon's ice body smacked her down to the floor, her ass first. "My reflexes are really slow..."
she mumbled to herself. Quickly, Jett got up on all fours and returned to the battlefield. Platinum stood up as well after Jett while Pikachu used a Quick Attack on Saga. Platinum could hardly see the pokemon's legs as it charged towards Saga with tremendous speed. Hell, she couldn't even let her following commands flow out of her mouth before Saga received another hit from the same pokemon. Clearly Saga wouldn't be too happy. "Saga, use Toxic!" Taking down a pokemon of speed slowly was going to have to do the trick, hopefully. The Roserade had release clouds of purple, toxic clouds from its 'bouquets' or arms in an attempt to badly poison his foe. Now that Saga used Toxic Platinum jumped her attention to Jett. Another ice type attack would be typical and predictable too. It would backfire. She had to use something else besides more ice type attacks. In fact, any more attacks would be predictable. I'll switch things up a bit. "Alright Jett, use Barrier!" Jett threw a huge, crystal like wall surrounding himself, boosting his defense. The Barrier stood firm like a mountain protecting the ice canine, although it did not tower over the ice canine by much. [/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote]

Ah yes, Venusaur's mouth opened wide when his vines tightened over the fox's body, ignoring the pinpricks of it's spiky fur. He lifted the fox off of him and threw the dog as hard and fast as he could, trying to put distance between them. Although, he would have had a much better time gobbling the ice canine down, it would have to do. The dog careened throught the air like a rag doll... straight for Platinum. "Venusaur! Don't kill her!"
The foliage covered dinosaur sidestepped to obstruct the distressed Champion from the girl, who evidently was struck and knocked to the ground. <I did not aim for her,> The low, throaty bluff filled the air and filled Red's eardrums. The creature moved back as Platinum got to her feet, she didn't look like she broke anything. The blur of yellow caused his attention to shift. His Pokémon rocketed at the Roserade and struck without fail. The mouse bounced off the plant and landed stiffly on his toes a foot or two away. The Pikachu turned to glance at his trainer, the worried look simply being a furrowed brow and a slight frown, his crimson eyes moving between everyone. Oh, that poor boy. "Move!" The mouse turned around to be blasted in the face by a cloud of purple gas. The electric-type gasped in shock and horror, inhaling the Toxic attack and had an immediate, ill feeling. He must've been zoned out when Platinum called the attack and now he was going to deal with the consequence! The mouse began to cough before bolting towards the Glaceon instead. The Ice-type had laid a Barrier to block Venusaur's attack, creating a visible wall around the snow fox. The Pikachu picked up speed until he was a limping rocket. With a war cry, his body enveloped in crackling electricity. His cranium slammed against the barrier, lightning snapping at the physical shield. The mouse pushed forward towards his foe until his energy ran out and he tumbled backwards, laying there for a few moments before hauling himself back onto his toes. "Chuuu..." He murmured weakly, wincing at the poison running through his body, causing his tiny rat heart to pound. Meanwhile, Venusaur had a near identical plan that he had with Glaceon, only it excluded Platinum getting hit. His vines slithered across the ground towards the Roserade, reaching for the plant hungrily, trying to grab and drag the flower back to the dinosaur. His plan was simple, once he had the Roserade, he'd stomp the rose flat.[/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote] ------------------------------------ & I'LL BE THE FIRST ONE TO LOSE MY HEAD

Platinum thoughts eased a bit more when Saga's toxic was successful. Now she didn't have to worry about that lightning mouse that much anymore as it'll get weaker as time passes by. Now she could focus a bit more the giant animal plant, Venusaur. Barrier helped a bit too, it protected Glaceon from most attacks although it cost some energy to build up the defense force as well. Platinum was about to give Saga a command before she noticed vines that extended from Venusaur head straight for her Roserade. At first, the flower pokemon tried to jump to the side but one of it's limbs were caught until eventually he was slowly being pulled in. Or more liked dragged as the grass pokemon tried to struggle with much effort but it seemed Venusaur had a tight grip.
"<What... the?!>" He clearly didn't see the vines coming, and even though Saga was a swift pokemon he still couldn't exactly wriggle his way out. It was pretty much useless to give him a command now. He wouldn't be able to strike with position he was currently in. Platinum quickly turned to Glaceon. Thank Mesprit this was a double battle or else Saga would've ben completely hopeless. "Ok Jett drop that barrier now! Give Saga a Helping Hand!"
Jett moved into action as he let out a war cry. In the process his body began to slightly grow and then light blue electricity engulfed it's body much like it would to an electric type pokemon. Soon the 'electricity' was released and aimed at Saga. The rose pokemon with hit, and he felt the extra energy he received from his battle partner. This power-boost should help Saga release him a bit, at least to use an attack. "Alright Saga, quickly try to use Extrasensory!"
With his additional power Saga had focused an odd psychic power and attempted to targeted his attack towards Venusaur. [/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote]

He swallowed hard as Pikachu rebounded off the Barrier and landed with a dull thud on the ground, unmoving. Static crackled across his fur and his rapid, uneven breathing showed he was struggling. His entire body convulsed, limbs twitching spasmodically as pain ran through his entire body. Poison. Red gnashed his teeth together, his jaw set with frustration as the mouse slowly tried to get up. His tiny toes curled into the stadium, trying to seek his central balance, although he just tumbled back onto his side, chest heaving as air was stolen. Meanwhile, Venusaur easily dragged his prey towards his snapping jaws, a greedy look in his eyes as he tried to ravage the stupid rose once and for all. It was revenge for Pikachu. But then his stupid trainer called out for the Glaceon to help. Blue electricity shot from the fox towards the Venusaur and Roserade. The grip around Saga loosened as the hulking dinosaur recoiled at the sight. But, as he soon learned, it was a passive attack
Well. Extrasensory was not. A blast exploded in his head and he shook, recoiling and raising his vines into the air, leaving the Roserade on the ground. He took a few steps backwards, shaking the leaves on his back with a pained roar. However, the champion walked onto the arena, forfeiting the battle in Platinum's favor. He was tired of watching his Pikachu convulse on the floor. The little rat glowed with electricity as he tried to vengefully fire a bolt of electricity at the foe's Pokémon, but his concentration broke and his attack failed as another bout of poison shocked his system. The champion bent down and scooped up the mouse in his arms, nodding slowly to Venusaur as the dinosaur waited patiently for a command.
"I'm sorry, I just cannot go on with this."
He smiled weakly, grabbing the grass-type's ball from his belt and tossing it towards the ceiling while his Pikachu laid half-conscious in the crook of his elbow. A growl rumbled in the back of the Venusaur's throat at the Glaceon and Roserade, his frame fading to red. The dinosaur was whisked back into the red and white sphere that drifted downward to Red's open palm. "I'm sorry. I'm sure you'll find another battle partner, you're pretty tough." He flashed two rows of teeth at her, his red eyes glimmering apologetically as he shuffled backwards, clipping the pokeball to his belt as he turned to walk out. He didn't even get her name, but then again, things were probably better like this. OOC - i keep rambling 'bout shit
Platinum forgot to let out a sigh of relief when Jett's Helping Hand turned out to be a success. She thought Saga would've been done for if that Venusaur dragged him any closer. The giant plant beast could've easily disposed of her pokemon in its grasp. Saga was thrown but was released as well when Venusaur was struck with Saga's attack. Granted, the Venusaur wasn't graceful with movement or agility but it seriously looked like it could pack a punch. Jett got a small taste of the power from its earlier razor leaf attack. Saga wasn't very happy about being clogged on the head with a iron tail then hit again with Quick Attack before it could follow Platinum commands. The Roserade didn't like gettign hit in general, and the girl would worry when a battle turned for the worse for her Saga might revert back into his dark and violent nature.
Platinum then saw her challenger suddenly walk into the arena. What was he doing? Did he just surrender like that? She held a puzzled look on her face until the pikachu's trainer picked up the rodent in his arms. Oh, so maybe that was why. Of course, no one likes to see their pokemon in pain at all. She sort of felt bad when he apologized about being unable to continue the battle. It didn't make her feel any better about being the victor now. She smiled a little at his compliment of her being tough. It sure took a while be strong.
When he turned around Platinum started to call her pokemon back into their pokeballs. Saga was the first to disappear in a flash of red light, then Jett. "Actually...wait!" She said as she quickly turned back. Hopefully he wasn't too far already, or if it was a little late to ask. "You wouldn't mind if I tagged along, right?" She didn't move any closer, perhaps he maybe was a bit upset about having his pikachu beaten up pretty hard, especially with toxic in its body. If he was going to get his pokemon she might as well, since her other pokemon could use some treatment. Cassiel was a good example, he was still in a paralyzed state too.

She didn't seem too upset about him forfeiting the match, but she did seem extremely confused when he strode onto the arena and snatched up the exhausted rat. He saw resolve in her eyes as he got up, she must've realized his intentions at that point. (That woman is a viper, Red.) The electric-type groaned, his static-laced fur sticking up in every direction, his chest heaving as he was stricken with another bout of Toxic. His eyelids drooped and the champion frowned as he walked towards the door. Gosh, he had to carry his barely conscious rat to the Pokémon Center? It was his fault for running in here. He studied his sneakers as he walked, nearly bumping into the door as he approached it. One hand rested on the handle as he regretted forfeiting the match. Hell, if he had been up on that stinkin' mountain, he wouldn't have given two shits about Pikachu and his current condition. Something about this match made him a complete quitter. Maybe he had the wrong Pokémon for the fight, or maybe he didn't want her to lose. Arceus knows what compelled him to step foot on that stage and ruin the fight for both of them. He swallowed hard, salvaging whatever dignity he had left.
Her voice came to his ears and he turned to look over his shoulder. Her Pokémon were no where in sight and she stood idly where she had been when he had walked away. His lips did not move, but his expression urged her to continue. She went on to ask if it was alright if she went with him to the Center. He chuckled under his breath. Well, I'm not going to stop her from going to the Pokémon Center. His hand reached up and scratched at the base of his skull, "No, I don't mind... as long as you can keep up. Come on."
Of course, his tone was playful and he opened the door, holding it ajar while he waited for her to catch up. Although she was a kid, she was still a girl and his mom always lectured him about being a gentleman, so he was going to hold it open for her. Whenever she managed to slip through, he released the door from his grip and took on an easy walking pace. "... Oh, I should introduce myself. M'names Red." He didn't usually talk this much, but he did have the obligation to answer her and introduce himself. Arceus knows society rejected quiet people like him. Then again, civilization was a new thing for him after being cooped up on the top of a mountain for years. However, it had been good training and it had made him near-resistant to cold. Or maybe that was because his limbs had been totally numb after a few hours. Hell, he would've been a Kanto-style popsicle if it weren't for Charizard. He was so deep in contemplation that he barely realized the silence between them. He side-glanced at the girl and then stared at the ground awkwardly. His only salvation was the red-roofed building that came into sight. "Ah, there it is." He mumbled, although it was more to himself than to Platinum. ooc; lame post is lame. plz. [/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote] with empty stomachs & hungry eyes our only choice was to swallow pride.
