Snarls and growls echoed around the plaza as the two pokémon clashed into one another, on cue a small gathering of people cheered and rooted for the two trainers who were having a friendly match. The Nidorino charged at the slender Persian, its sharp horn poised to jab viciously into the feline like pokémon at any given moment. Thankfully for the normal type it nimbly and easily pounced out the way, elegantly twisting its body in the air to fire a vicious looking power gem from its glittering ruby gem on its forehead. It wasn’t the most vicious battle or most exciting of the century but it was obvious the two trainers were into it, both glaring at the battlefield and opponents with a competitive and serious glint in their eyes. Clearly both wanted to win and were ready to dish out whatever moves they could to come out the victor of the match. A horror filled and painful yowl escaped the Persian’s jaw as it was slammed into, the Nidorino easily sweeping the cream feline off its feet and tumbling down to the stone floor. Seemed like it could be a pretty close match, both pokémon were very determined, especially the Persian who was pulling itself to its paws with pride and stubbornness shimmering in its eyes.
A chorus of cheers clapped around the Starstruck Plaza, causing Soul to turn her caramel eyes to look at the match, she had been glancing between the spar between the two trainers and her Marill, Estelle since the match began, making sure her aquatic mouse did not run off and get lost for the hundredth time. To be honest the match hadn’t been too thrilling, sure there had been some good parts but she wasn’t surprised that the Persian stood the victor while the knocked out Nidorino was swiftly returned to his pokéball. Despite missing half the battle because she had kept most of her attention on Estelle, Soul still clapped very briefly, only out of politeness and from what she had seen, the normal type had done a pretty good job. Also she felt like she had to clap, she could feel the eyes of some civilians burning into her, as if she never made her presence known amongst the people of Ziel. Seven years and she still had not gotten over the uncomfortable feeling of them burning holes into her with their stares, it didn’t help that she was a human, let alone one of the thrones of this world.
Trying to push away the gnawing feeling of being stared at, Soul turned her attention to Estelle instead who was splashing around happily in the fountain while she had perched on the ledge around the outside of the pretty fountain in the plaza. She figured she might as well let Estelle go for a swim; Soul had no plans to go to any beach anytime soon, even though she knew her Marill would love it. She’d just have to make do with the fountain or any kind of pond or lake she happened to stumble across when she took her regular walk. “It really is a nice day..” She mused to herself, gazing towards the blue sky with fluffy white clouds floating carefree through the air. Caramel eyes turned to look at Estelle, her eyes softening at the adorable water type splashing in the clear water before gazing at her with those adorable bright eyes. “Having fun?” In response the water type let out a squeal and flicked her odd sphere shaped tail at Soul, splashing droplets of water over her. She jumped a little, mostly because the action caught her by surprise before a small smirk pulled onto her lips, the brunette dipping her fingers in the cool water and returned a spray back at Estelle. Squealing in happiness, the blue pokémon dove down into the pool of the fountain and started to explore the bottom of the beautiful fountain.
Soul slowly turned her attention away from the trouble prone Marill, her caramel eyes sweeping over the plaza just wondering if there would be another battle going on, hopefully a more gripping fight if one sparked up. At the moment though the group which had watched the previous match were starting to break up and get on with their business, going back to their shopping and talking to friends. Soul silently and sadly wondered, if the busy cities back in Johto were like this still? Like Goldenrod, bustling with life and laughter that never seemed to die out even when night rolled in. She had never got to spend a full day there, she and her mother had gone once to look around the huge department store, she couldn’t remember much about the experience apart from how busy and lively Goldenrod City was like. It made New Bark Town seem almost abandoned in comparison. Mentally shaking the memories out of her head, Soul swiftly turned her attention back to Estelle, stubbornly willing the sorrow to just disappear until she was alone.

Abi hummed a short tune as she walked down the streets, keeping mostly out of people's way. It wasn't too hard, considering most had gathered around into a tightly packed circle and were cheering. She had glanced over once or twice, but hadn't really seen anything. You see, her side of the field was filled with big people (or at least she thought so), big and mean people. Yeah, okay sorry if she tripped and pushed you over a bit, it didn't matter. Couldn't you tell she was a clutch? So Abi wasn't paying attention to the pokemon battle, she didn't even know it was a battle.
Her Smeragle on the other hand was all over it. He had pushed his way through at one point, to be pushed back again. People would kick him out of the way, thinking he was a stray, and he would mess up the fight. He only wanted to paint a little picture of the match. But sadly he couldn't get in, so he went back to trotting at Abi's feet, his tail dragging on the sidewalk, leaving a dark purple line to follow. <"Hey are we ever going to stop, you walk to much."> Miles said, stopping and tugging on Abi's pants. She looked down at him with her bright blue eyes, and titled her head.
"What do you want now Mister?" she asked, bending down to ruffle his fur on his head. She gave him a bright smile and stood up. "We are here to get something, come one." she said as she started to walk, not really looking at where she was going. Nope, Abi was busy thinking in her head, making a list of what she needed for the shop. Mostly it was some fabric, to make a little display for her flowers. Something that would brighten up the shop, it made her smile to just think about it. The plaza was only her first stop too, she needed to visit the market place too. Stock up on some food.
"What do you wa....." the young girl started to say before she tripped on the flat stone surface of the plaza and stumbled into the fountain face first. A splash of water was sent flying as Abi hit the water. The blond flopped around a bit, before turning upwards to face the sky. She ran her hand through her wet hair and started to giggle silently. On the bright side, the day wasn't freezing cold, and the sun was out. It was nice a refreshing Abi thought to herself. Miles on the other hand wasn't so pleased. He had ran up to the edge to hopefully catch his owner, but ended up catching most of the water instead. He glared, and waved his tail in her face. "Look, I am sorry Miles. And to everyone else....." she added the last part in a tiny voice, just realizing the looks she was getting. SO many angry people, now Abi felt a little embarrass.

"Which color do you think suits me better, black or white?~" The twin replicas asked together in their soft, sweet and eerie tone. They young girls were at a popular clothing stall with many fancy dresses and gowns. The one odd thing about the stall was that the clothing was either black or white, no gray in between. Killian and her sister Spencer were holding up several dresses against themselves in front of the saleswoman who stared at them in silence. She just stood there looking intently at the gowns, slightly tilting her glasses and muttering low whispers. It was easy to say she was stumped or troubled on what to say. Spencer tilted her head slightly to the left. Her face looked a bit. Quickly she grabbed another dress nearby and showed it to the saleswomen who still hadn't said a word. "Maybe this one looks better? Hm? Or perhaps maybe..." Killian pouted a bit out of impatience. "Maybe neither black or white suits any of us, Spence. I think we should leave, I didn't even like much of this stuff anyway. Hmph!" She simply dropped all the clothing on the floor and started to walk out the door with a sour frown. Spencer, too, walked out while purposely walking over all the nice dresses on the ground. The saleswoman shrieked about her wonderful gowns and cursed under her breath. It was already too late to scold the twin replicas now.
"Sheesh! It's a simple question..... and that stupid saleslady couldn't answer it! Was it that bad? Did it look that bad on me? Uuughh." She continued to walk at a fast angry pace, Spencer following after her. "That's not it Killian! The dresses themselves aren't just as good as we thought we they were! I mean I kept trying many different ones and that dumb women with no sense of fashion still kept that blank look on her face!" The young girls had decided to walk around the plaza in hopes of brightening their moods a up a bit, which really wasn't a difficult task. Maybe there was another sacrificial ceremony coming up tonight, you know you wouldn't want to miss that. The silence and the intensity and the drama was just great!
Oddly there was silence in the plaza. Killian looked over at the crowds of people just standing in one place, usually so many people were walking at once. "Eh? That's weird look Spence, what do you think is going on there? Let's go check it out!" The two girls scurried over and pushed strangers out of the way to se what happened. There was just a girl in the fountain. Soaking wet. And everyone was staring at her. "Did....d-did she fell in? She fell in the fountain, oh my!~ Ahahahahaha!" Both started to laugh and point. "She fell in the water! Look, she's all wet!~"

Seriously, how could anyone have guessed that someone would fall face first into the fountain? Nobody would, that’s who that’s why Soul jumped off the stone edge of the water art in utmost shock and surprise, her caramel eyes widening. All she could do really was stare as the blonde tumbled and splashed into the clear water, spraying the liquid when she collided with the surface in all directions. Squeals escaped from some females who were standing nearby, clearly not impressed that they had been caught up in the splash, in all honesty, even Soul let out a small squeal as the water hit her a little bit, the cold soaking through some of her clothes. Holy crap that wasn’t the warmest water ever, how did Estelle swim around in there without a care in the world like the temperature didn’t bother her. “Oh god, Estelle.” She mumbled, her gaze scanning the pool just in case the blonde haired woman had flopped on top of her tiny water type pokémon. Pushing her way back to the edge of the fountain the brunette scanned around, hoping to find her Marill unharmed and not squished. She was only a small pokémon after all.
A familiar chime caused Soul to snap her attention to the right side of the fountain, a relieved look appeared on her face as the naturally plump Marill pulled herself from the water and quickly trotted along the edge of the fountain, apparently she must have swam out the way of the girl when she fell in the pool. As if on cue the clumsy Marill tripped over her own tail and stumbled forward, a shocked cry escaping her small mouth as she fell face first. Thankfully, Soul had had a lot of experience of catching Estelle whenever she took one of her frequent tumbles so it wasn’t that hard for her to scoop the water type in her arms. Estelle let out a coo like noise as she snuggled closer to her human companion and Soul shrugged off the fact that now the wet Marill was soaking the front of her clothes, causing her to shiver slightly as she felt the dampness reach her skin. Thankfully it was a warm day so she’d probably dry off soon, unfortunately it didn’t seem like the girl who fell into the pool would be getting dry anytime soon, considering she was soaked through and through.
A chorus of familiar laughter chimed above the grumbling of angry civilians and small chuckles of some who saw the funny side, clearly the people who didn’t get caught in the splash. Turning her body slightly, Soul couldn’t help but notice the twins, Spencer and Killian, both the replicas of Plusle and Minun. Of course she had heard of them and of course she had been in there company a handful of times, despite the pair being a bit of a handful, Soul couldn’t deny that they tended to put a smile on her face most of the time. Even now she offered the twins a small smile, though like most times with the twins it wasn’t forced, most of her smiles had been fake in Ziel not like anyone could tell, she had practically mastered the art of making herself appear happy. It was hard to be truly cheerful when you were in a situation like hers. She generally only smiled properly around her pokemon or in a situation where she couldn’t help but show her true smile. She liked the twins though so it wasn’t like she had to force herself to smile, only in this situation she was a little distracted by the girl in the fountain.
Cradling the round blue pokémon in one arm, Soul decided to help the girl considering nobody else would, plus she didn’t exactly want people whispering amongst themselves why a girl of the throne just left a clumsy girl to swim around in a fountain without offering any assistance. That would be very bothersome to deal with. Extending her right hand out, Soul put on an encouraging look on her features as she offered to help the blonde girl in the pool. “So did you not see the fountain or did you just fancy a swim?” A small yet amused grin was on her features as the playful comment escaped her lips.

You could say that Abi froze up when she heard laughter. She let her blue eyes drift down towards the water, sadness touching the edge. She let out a sigh, dipped her right hand in water, and pushed some water towards the laughing twins. She was wet, she understood, but did she really need to be laughed at. Though she figured the Twins didn't look older the 15, maybe it was okay, if they were kids and all. Abi pondered this for a bit, before she heard the growls of her Smeargle again. She looked up, and right in front of her was a hand.
Abi chuckled a bit, and gratefully accepted the hand. Something about this girl seemed familiar in a sense. Like she should know who she was, like she was extremely important. "I don't think the fountain saw me." she shrugged, running her hand though her soaking wet hair. Her once curly blonde mop hung lifeless by her head in clumps. She didn't like it one bit. "I don't know what happened." she muttered to herself looking back to where she tripped. Nope, it looked like a flat surface, something that wasn't easily tripped on. "I am terribly sorry if I got you wet."
she added glancing back at the twins who had careless mocked her. "And people shouldn't laugh." Abi said it loud enough for some to hear, and looked back at Soul. A lot of the crowd looked away when the blonde girl said that. Abi thought that the twins over there probably didn't, they didn't seem like the type to really care about what others thought. "I'm Abi," she said extending her left hand, as Miles returned to her side, with his tail in one hand, and his other hand clenched into a tight fist. He glared at a couple people (wasn't noticed) and sat by Abi's feet. He grumbled something and looked up at Soul. "And this is Miles, he can be such a grumpy boy." she sighed and patted her Pokemon's head. Miles looked back down at the ground, shut his eyes, and leaned against the side of her leg. His paint brush tail fell to the ground and he relaxed his other hand. [/blockquote] Notes /flails Muse: pretty high Words: 371 [/blockquote][/blockquote]

The laughter of the two girls died down a little but their snickering & giggle could still be clearly heard in the silence of the crowd. They were like small girls in their first year of grade school trading 'secrets'. Spencer motioned her sister to be quiet with a "shhh.." while Killian just wiggled her eyebrows until they both saw Soul. Spencer and Killian were quite fond with the thrones. Like average young girls they fascinated with idea of princess or in this case, thrones. Oddly they actually really liked Soul for the most part. They thought she was a kind and fun character to be around who didn't seem annoyed by them. Killian shook her sister's shoulder crazily. "Look! Spencer, look, isn't that Soul? Let's go say hi, come on!"
Spencer nodded and continued to talk. "You think she saw that girl fall in? I mean she is right by the fountain after all." Killian grinned, sparks began to fly from her face. It was normal though. Whenever any of the girls got really excited or happy sparks would fly from their face and cheeks like they would on any electrical mouse. "He... urrr.... shouldn't we do it properly? She's a throne, Killian maybe we should behave nicely this time." She pondered for a bit with her head tilting to the left. Her sister nodded. "Yeah, let's go slowly and embrace her presence! You know, like bow or something, right? Let's do just that!" Both twins walked off slowly at the same time and approached Soul at the same pace. They usually would run or skip and even jump around in such a frantic fashion as if they ate a lot of candy. Spencer would shout and laugh loudly while Killian would climb walls and jump off form them to scare other pokemon or people. They were young and did know better, but sadly there really wasn't much of a parental figure to stop them or tell them otherwise. Soul was only a few feet from the girls. Killian immediately stopped in her tracks with her twin doing the same. Then they bent their heads down. "Spencer and her sister Killian here acknowledge your presence Soul, Human Throne." It was as if they didn't even notice the wet girl anymore. She did spoke about certain people not laughing, but the twins obviously weren't paying attention to other conversations. "What my sis said, it's nice to see you, Soul!" She rose her head and smiled, but her sister quickly whacked the back of her neck. Then the two girls started to bicker a bit. Spencer was a bit upset Killian rose her head to early while of course Killian disagreed. [/blockquote][/blockquote]

Well at the least the blonde girl didn’t seem to be hurt after her ungraceful tumble into the pool of the fountain, not like you could really fall over with grace, unless it was planned. Soul couldn’t help but smile in amusement at the girls comment about the fountain not seeing her, it was nice to see her acting so positively about it instead of freaking out that she had just splashed a load of people and kind of humiliated herself a bit. She knew if she had fallen in, she probably wouldn’t have acted with such grace and poise which someone of royalty should act like, she’d probably stomp off in annoyance or something. Seeing the blonde look down at the ground, Soul curiously did the same wondering if she had fallen over something like a loose slab in the ground of perhaps something which shouldn’t be there. Things seemed perfectly find though, not a thing out of place, perhaps she had just tripped over nothing or she had stumbled over someone’s foot? The possibilities were endless really, though the girl didn’t seem too phased by her visit in the fountain perhaps that meant she was simply clumsy and was used to situations like this?
“Nice to meet you Abi, you too Miles.” She chimed politely, feeling the aquatic mouse cradled in her arms start to wiggle ever so slightly. Estelle hopped out of Soul’s warm embrace to greet the Smeargle, unlike the majority of Soul’s team Estelle was one of the few friendly ones, along with Lucien who never seemed to have too much trouble winning other pokémon over with his charm. Like him, Estelle liked making new friends while the other members of the team were either too hot headed to do something like that, or they just preferred to keep to themselves. Probably why Estelle and Lucien got on pretty well considering they were both more than happy to make new acquaintances. The water type stumbled as soon as she landed on the ground, clearly she wasn’t that great at keeping her balance at the best of times, though if Miles did have a clumsy trainer, then he would more than likely know how to tolerate a water mouse who was known for falling over. Composing herself the cheerful Marill extended a small paw out in politeness to the normal type with the unique tail, she figured it was a good way to start a possible friendship as she chirped at him in a greeting, her sphere shaped tail rolling along the floor slightly.
“Oh, this is Estelle and I’m-“ Before she even had a chance to introduce herself to the soaking wet blonde, a chorus of two familiar voices interrupted and Soul looked at the twins with wide eyes, a surge of shock pulsing through her. Oh crap, did they really have to bow like that? It was kind of embarrassing after all. Soul gathered it would be different if she had been a member of the throne all her life but considering she had only been here for seven years acts like these still made her feel slightly uncomfortable. “It’s good to see you both as well.” She replied, chuckling awkwardly as she silently willed them to stand up straight and not make a scene by forcing the attention on her. “You don’t have to bow you know.” Caramel eyes gazed back to Abi and she gave her a nervous smile, looked like she would know her name now, she just wondered what the blonde would act like if she figured out she was a throne, most people tended to either by polite and super nice to her, or if they were in alliance with Mind stick their noses in the air and treat her with not much respect. Oh the joys of being a young woman of the throne..

Miles gave the little water mouse pokemon a strange look as it tumbled out of Soul's arms. The smeargle instantly thought of his owner tumbling down the various things that Abi tumbles over and stifled a chuckle. He picked up his tail, drew a little smiley face on the hands of the water mouse, and looked up at Abi, currently unaware of the things around him. He noticed a certain change in his owner, something he didn't normal see around her. Abi was currently in shock, Miles decided, keeping a rather close eye on the blonde mess.
Her blue eyes widened a bit as the twins came up. First she was a tad bit ticked off, they didn't even say they were sorry or anything like that, but he angry quickly faded when they bowed. Her mouth opened a bit, and hung open while they talked. A light flashed in her head, and she finally remembered where she had seen this girl. She had almost shouted Soul, to go along with the light bulb that went off in her head but quickly caught herself. She stood there for a second more though, still rather surprised. Abi might have been a klutz, but she knew about the world around her, and she really enjoyed learning about the thrones and their guards.
She ran a slender hand through her messy hair, avoiding most of the clips she but in. She glanced down at Miles, caught his gaze, and looked back at Soul. "It is super awesome to meet you guys." she squeaked quickly covering up her mouth with her hand afterward. She was still in shock believe it or not. She slowly removed her hand and laughed nervously. She gave a little smile and looked past Soul's head. Abi knew that she shouldn't freeze up like this, but she really splashed a throne! What if she like cut of her head or something, it was unbearable to think off. "Uh...." the young portal started trying to think of something to say. "Astelle is really cute." Yeah lame thing to say, but she still couldn't think.

It was a shame the two girls never had any real mature figures to seriously set them straight. When the girls argued the one who wins is the one gets the other to shut up. Of course many of those fights ended in a tie, or something else more interesting came up. Killian spattered back bitterly at her sister about other pointless things that were obviously unrelated to the current situations. Spencer only just tried to point out all of her own sister's mistakes and bad habits. It was getting no where until Soul spoke, mention that they didn't have to bow. t the same time the girls had shut their mouths and slowly turned at the Human Throne, then back to each other. Would this mean they were such important and close figures there was no need for courtesy?
She also said it was good to see them, so maybe they more than just simple 'friends', yay! The girls both smiled brightly, small sparks of electricity flying off from their shining faces. It was then they now remembered of the girl that had fallen in the water. Poor thing was all wet down to the core. The young twins were already over it, they didn't think it was that funny anymore. Of course, children these days quickly bounced back and forth to different topics and such. "You're very lucky, lady!" Killian chirped at Abi.
Spencer butt in after Abi talked again. "Oh, Estelle isn't just cute, she's spectacular! She's not only just delightful she's a good battler, I bet. A double threat! Hehe~" Right now the replica would pet Estelle or touch it, but since she was wet she probably would've zapped the marine mouse by mistake, especially since some sparks were still emerging from her skin. "You should see Soul's other pokemon too, they're awesome!"
Spencer's eyes started to widen and sort of sparkle as if she was looking at some giant shiny object. "Don't forget mighty! They're super-duper strong too.~" Killian looked at Soul for a bit, her smile turning a bit sheepish. Maybe it was alright to ask...... "Soul, would you mind if you battled us?" She blurted out. Spencer perked her head up at the question and joined her sister. "Oh, yeah! That's be so cool! Soul, would you? Pretty please. Err.. it's ok so say no though too. But it's be so cool! Oh and um... oh yeah! What's Her Face can watch or something too!" [/blockquote][/blockquote]
