~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ No need for a rescue? No need for a rescue? Dear Arceus, there was a drunk Red in front of her friend, and now she was telling her that there was no need for a rescue? Leaf shook her head sadly at Platinum's foolishness. Ah, dear, what was the world coming too? She had been looking forwards to playing the hero too..... well, if her aid wasn't needed, she might as well just grab Blue and find another unoccupied closet for round two. But then again, this could be some good entertainment. Red was generally a very controlled person, so watching him loosen up was fun(ny). Though she was pretty sure that somewhere, a hole in the fabric of the universe was opening up........
The girl's silent musings were interrupted as Gold, the host of the party, came marching up. About to open her mouth to thank him for coming up with the idea for the seven minutes in heaven game, she decided not to when his fist came flying through the air at Red. Well. That was sudden. What exactly had gone on while she and Blue were in the closet that had made Gold so pissed? Eh, she could ask later, though under the circumstances, she supposed she could forgive him for hitting her childhood friend. After all, he was drunk. Red, not Gold, that is. Though the girl had a faint suspicion that the second boy would probably be hitting the bottles before this night was out as well.......
It wasn't until Red was on the ground and whiping his bloody face off that it truly dawned on Leaf that Gold had hit the champion trainer. HE had hit RED. Sacrilege! That was a right solely reserved for HER. She was the only one who was allowed to beat up the trainer and get away with it. Gold was hot and all, but she couldn't let this one slide. If she did, then she would let the next time, and the time after that, and before you knew it she would be soft. A devilish gleam entered her eyes as a sweet, flirtatious smile grew on her face. "Gold, Gold, Gold," she gently chided as she sidled up to him and threw her arm around his shoulders, the other arm subtly reaching for his hat. "Even if he is making a fool of himself, you can't just hit the poor guy....." her voice trailed off as her hand grabbed for the amazing hat that he wore. Sometimes it really felt like she had a hat fetish or something.....
Yanking her arm roughly away from his shoulders, a drastic change from her gentleness before, the girl stood before him waving his hat in one hand, a happy smile still etched on her face. "No one can hurt that guy but me, got it?" she demanded, raising Gold's hat up in to the air to get a better look at it, before bringing it harshly down with the intention of hitting the other trainer with it. That done, she contemplated the hat again, before slapping him lightly on the cheek with it and then replacing it to it's original position, on his head. Grinning, she leaned in and gave the cute trainer a small smooch on the cheek as a way of apologizing for her actions before merrily skipping away. Well, at least she could say that she had kissed two guys tonight if they called the psychiatric cops down on her. She wouldn't blame them if they did....
Now, where had Platinum gone? Leaf looked around curiously for her friend, only to see her being scooped up by a total stranger who she sure didn't know and carried in to the closet. Good Arceus, how old was he? Not that he looked old, no, but you could tell that he was more aged than the rest of them. Quickly, the brown-haired girl darted a look towards the listings again. Oliver, huh? Either he was a chaperone who had accidentally gotten mixed up in the game, or a pedophile who had gotten mixed up in the game, or just a pedophile preying on poor unsuspecting teenage girls. It made Leaf want to run to a corner and begin rocking herself back and forth. Poor Platinum.....well, there was nothing to be done now, except hope that she came out of the closet unscathed. Grabbing a napkin from a random table, she walked back over to where Red was lying and handed it to him, smiling at everyone whom she passed.
Gold's breathing went jagged as the flesh on his fist connected with Red's facial flesh, pain from the force of the hit throbbing through his knuckle, his arm swinging down to his side as the other male fell to the ground. Blood tripped down the champions noise as the room seemed to suddenly fill with silence. The only sound being that of Gold's rapid breath and the soft music cascading from the music box across the room. It was broken slowly when Red muttered a single oh. It didn't seem like he was completely processing any of this situation, it was unlikely he'd even remember how he got that bruised nose, tomorrow. Several thoughts were rushing through his pounding head now, he could either keep up his currently one-sided fight with Red and just release all his anger on the man who wouldn't remember any of this tomorrow, or he could just let him go.
The caramel-haired attendee seemed to pick the second choice for him as she gleamed into his eyes, a seductuous smile splayed across her lips, he just had to cringe at the look, his face contorted into one of surprise as his eyes widened in surprise at her sudden change in display. One minute she's coming out of the closet cheery and ready to play the knight to the princess, the next she seems out to kill, even he wasn't dumb enough to fall for the look she was showing.The words barely seemed to register into his brain as she repeated his name several times his body tensed when the female swung her arm around his shoulders, what was with people and throwing their arms over his shoulders today. First it was Red, and now it's Leaf, for Arceus' sake, Blue was probably next. He winced slightly when Leaf's arm brushed over his eye as she reached for his dual-colored hat. The normally flirtatious girl had him struck speechless by her sudden change in personality, he wasn't used to the female trainer acting so roughly.
He staggered a couple steps when she roughly yanked her arm away from him, the smile set across her peachy lips was made of anything but innocence, as Gold reached out a hand to try to grab his hat back. He really didn't like the idea that she had just stolen one of his favorite possesions from him. Her new-found, cocky attitude was starting to get on his nerves. "Give that back!" His words came out almost like those of a child begging to be given it's toy back. He had had the ball cap ever since he was a little kid, given to him by his father, and he didn't appreciate that Leaf had took it upon herself to forcibly snatch it from him as he swung his hand towards the dual-colored attire, missing by a long shot when the head attire was lifted into the air and brought harshly down upon his face, scratching his cheek as it was roughly pulled away. "The hell, women..." His voice trailed off when she gave him another, but softer, slap on the cheek before replacing Gold's hat onto his black locks and she gave him a gentle kiss on the cheek. Damn women, she didn't have to use my own hat. The simple thought crossed his mind as he gingerly touched his cheek with the tips of his finger, the soft skin harmful to the touch, and a thin stream of blood rubbed itself onto his finger from where the harsh velcro strap had scrapped his skin. What in the world, was it even possible for that to happen? Maybe something else on the hat had ripped open his skin. Even so, he was still better off than the mess of blood on the floor near his feet.
"Arceus, this is all your fault." He pointed an accusing finger at the fallen figure as he crossed his arms and spun around so he would no longer have to face the pathetic excuse of a champion. His eyes trailing Leaf cautiously as she retreated to his kitchen, only to return moments later with a napkin, walking past him without a second glance as she moved to Red's aid. He was the drunken one, he was the one hitting on the girl several years too young for him, how come he was the one getting all the sympathy, and Crystal hadn't even stepped in to help. Some childhood friends he had, always there by his side and ready to help, yup, they were just the best people to have as friends.
His attention suddenly shifted when he noticed the under-aged female being sweeped off her feet by someone who appeared much older than her. Obviously Oliver, he really had no clue why he knew this guys name or anything, but his first thoughts about him went along the line of "Pedobear". He face palmed for the second time that evening, what in the world was tonight turning into.
Everything just happened so quickly. The punch landed square in Red’s face. That Gold character indeed had moxie. He wondered how the fallen Red when he landed on the ground. Wasn’t everyday a shortie trainer sent a hot-shot champion like Red to the floor. The sight made him smile and he stifled a chuckle. It was quite rude to laugh, Blue knew, but the entire situation was hilarious, especially when the blood trickled down.
Blue couldn’t help to get a better look at the spectacle. He joined the few crowding around to see if Red had passed out or still retained couniousness. The teenager hoped not because for now, Red was the life of the party. “Glad to see you can still handle a hit,” teased Blue as he leaned over to inspect the Red’s injury. “This party just wouldn’t be the same without you.” Teasing of course. By his tone, he obviously alluded to Red’s frame of mind. “Sadly, it would be wise to quit your ‘party juice’ before you get too cool for this get together all together.”
He rose from his stooped position. Before he could take a step away, his eyes directed toward an older guy, probably the oldest adult present. He moved with confidence, a dangerous opponent for Red. Blue was only human so he couldn’t hear but every other word the stranger said. With that, Blue smiled again as the man scooped the young girl and whisked her away to the sacred location he and Leaf exited merely moments ago. The smile turned into a slight frown as he noted the age difference, but then he didn’t care, brushing it away with a mental, have fun guys.
Unable to control his mind, Blue’s attention directed to the kitchen, but only for a few moments. Leaf’s voice cut through any other agenda. He wanted to say something, but he wanted to be careful. Discouragement was not the response Gold should have received but instead encouragement. Sadly, this was not the time. Then as Leaf’s darling lecture about how only she was allowed to assault Red ended, Blue caught it, the smooch on the cheek. Some instinct told him envy was the only logical response, but to him, the peck on the cheek meant as much as a pat on the head. The trainer didn’t guess where Leaf went when she skipped out of the scene. Someone had to give him a napkin and there was no way in hell that he would do it.
The flurry for the hat was a sight to see. Blue never understood, the love for hats that so many had. Red, Leaf, and now this Gold all had a thing for them. To him, it was another meaningless possession to keep up with. Now hoodies. They served the same purpose and were attached to a coat. Man who thought of that was pure genius. Blue really wasn’t sure what to think of Gold, with his begging for wittle hat to his accusation of Red’s fault. Really, it was the booze’s fault but seeing blame being tossed like a whirlwind was too much fun. Oh, well, thought Blue as he glanced at Red still on the floor. He paused, considering helping his rival up, but his attempt at standing on his two feet would prove an excellent distraction.
He walked away and as he traveled by Gold, he flicked the cap on the way to the kitchen. There he shook his head at the disappointment the bottles caused. With the lack of a sensible man to take care of the problem, Blue was the only real candidate left. He gathered a bottle in each hand and glanced around for a spot to keep these until Red… went away, but as this wasn’t his house, it was rather difficult. For some reason, the two bottles in his hand were opened. Not bothering to resist, the pulled one of the bottles to his lips and gulped a few mouthfuls before trying to hide these from further violence. It was rather hard though as he took the other bottle and took a few gulps from that one.
The boy continued to sit there as familiar faces crowded around him. In the fog of his mind, he could recognize them, but could not put a name to it. Slowly, the pain came to his bleeding nose. A dull throb that would probably ache worse if the alcohol had not severed his nerves. Feeling reckless, he touched the crooked feature, recoiling when he heard a crackling under his light touches. He gritted his teeth, feeling hollow panic swim in his stomach acid, causing it to knot. His red eyes darted through the crowd, his fear subsiding when he saw Leaf smack Gold over the head with his own hat. Red grinned, but he couldn't be bothered to laugh. It was all well, she even hit him a second time. But... then she kissed him on the cheek. He turned his head to see Blue was crouching down beside him, assessing his injury and talking about how Red was "the life of the party". “This party just wouldn’t be the same without you.” The boy rubbed his forehead in reply. “Sadly, it would be wise to quit your ‘party juice’ before you get too cool for this get together all together.” The boy stared at Blue for a few seconds. "Okay,"
His voice was soft and held child-like innocence. He was oddly passive for a boy who had just gotten punched in the face and watched forlornly as his childhood rival got up and walked off somewhere. His tongue moved across his chapped lips to hydrate them and he had an unsettled feeling in his stomach. Gold pointed at him and growled something, but the fog of alcohol kept him from registering the words. Leaf came back and his loneliness disappeared, she had a napkin in her hand which reminded him of the warm liquid that ran from his nose. He stared at the foreign object in her hands like she was trying to give him a dead animal, one eyebrow quirked incredulously as if he didn't know what it was for. His red eyes were trained on her face, even as one shaky hand stretched outward to grab the tissue from her hand. "You're pretty." He cooed endearingly, his fingers curled over the napkin and he took it when she held it out to him. Red stared at it, turned it over in his hand and then looked up at her like 'what am i supposed to do with this?'Arceus knows how he went from a giggling drunk to a confused young child, but it was probably because his roleplayer found it incredibly amusing when Gold had a seizure over Red receiving all the sympathy. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ What with the way this party was going, perhaps it would be a good idea to go and hide before things really got kicked in to action. First a drunk Red, then a pedophile kidnapping sweeping away her friend, and now an injured Gold. Rehabilitation would be in order after this night, but for now, Leaf wasn't going to run away. Things might be getting a little crazy, but they were also getting extremely interesting, and entertainment was never a thing the girl passed up. Things were just getting started. This party would be a party that no one would remember, because they'd all either be too drunk or traumatized to. She wouldn't envy Red the hangover he was bound to get the next day.
Smiling an apologetic smile at Gold, she dangled the napkin in front of her bleeding friend's face, and released it when he snatched it up. She hadn't meant to be so rough with Gold, but that's the way things had turned out. Perhaps she would go and find him a band-aid later to make up for it, or hunt down Crystal and lock them in a vacant closet together. Those two would look cute together, and Gold was never one to turn down action. The girl's dark eyes switched back to Red when he opened his mouth to speak. She'd have to teach him how to hold his liquer one day, but until then, the best tactic for him would probably be not to talk at all. Luckily, right now, all that came out of his mouth were words that couldn't be used against him. "I hope you're talking about me and not the napkin," Leaf remarked. "Though, admittedly, it is a very nice napkin,"
When Blue stopped by, Leaf nodded her agreement with his words. Her eyes quickly flicked to him for a moment, then back to Red, who was, at the moment, the more helpless of her friends. Her case was proven in point when he just stared at his napkin instead of using it. With a small sigh, the girl gently uncurled his fingers from the napkin and used it to wipe his face herself, and succeeded in getting most of the blood off. It was just like having a pet whose mess needed to be cleaned up for him, or a baby. Nonetheless, Leaf didn't want any more 'babies' around. But where had Red gotten his alcohol from in the first place anyways? Turning around, she patted Gold on the shoulder in a friendly way. "Try not to kill each other while I'm gone to go dispose of the drinks," she said cheerfully.
Now, where would a host put his liquer? Hmmm.....the kitchen, maybe? Weaving her way through the crowd, Leaf finally arrived at the location, only to find that Blue was a few steps ahead of her. He better enjoy that, it wouldn't happen again......then she noticed that he didn't look none-too-steady either. And there was the matter of the two open bottles in his hands. Awakward. Now she would have to make sure that Blue didn't piss off Gold, and anyone else whom he came across. As she remembered, he seemed to have a gift for being an asshole, though she never really saw him act that way towards her. Making her way towards the gym leader, she gently tugged on one of the bottles he was holding. "C'mon Blue. Give your friend the bottle,"
When Crystal received an invitation to a party from Gold, she was thrilled to discover that it would take place in his house. The last time she was invited to his humble abode was back when they were still cute, little 10-year-olds… a few months before starting their Pokémon journeys. She could not really remember what exactly they did at his house, but figured it was most likely a day of playing videogames and watching TV. Since Gold was still a minor, his mother was most likely supervising so she was relieved at the thought of parental supervision. His mother was not as strict as her own mom, but parents knew when to draw the line when things got out of hand. A shade of pink tinted her cheeks as she tried out different outfits in front of the mirror. Maybe once the party was over, they could hang out in his room and play videogames like the good old days… or maybe even kiss. ”What am I thinking?!” Crystal cried out and shook her head repeatedly, trying to discard any naughty ideas from her thoughts. It’s not like she was dating Gold!
Her mother knocked before poking her head into her room and let her know that she was late for the party. Crystal’s mouth opened wide as she turned her head to the clock and was shocked to discover that she was already 20 minutes late for Gold’s party. ”Ahhh! Why didn’t you—Nevermind,” She decided to avoid blaming her mother for her own carelessness and left with the outfit she already had on. Crystal ran down the stairs and burst out the door. Good thing he lived in the same neighborhood, so that was probably the reason she was confident about taking her time before the party. Taking a moment to briefly catch her breath, she stood at the door and felt a few beads of sweat trickling down her face. She could hear the chatter of the party guests from outside and wondered if she would be able to recognize any of them. Now was not the time to be timid, she had to confront these people sometime.
She knocked on the door and waited for an answer, the music and party guests’ conversation most likely transcended her soft knocks. After receiving no answer, she turned the knob the check if the door was unlocked and let herself in. Crystal looked around and put her index finger to her cheek wondering where Gold’s parents were currently at. She entered the living room to discover a drunken Red, a whiteboard with a title ‘7 Minutes in Heaven’ and a list of pairings on the bottom (her name was most likely paired by default since she was absent during the drawing of names), alcoholic beverages in the hands of Blue who was in the kitchen with Leaf just behind him, and Gold standing still. What the hell was going on here? Her left brow twitched as she made her way towards Gold and scratched her cheek, ”Please tell me this is a joke,” Crystal said to him quietly, really hoping he was pulling a prank on her and already knew that she was going to be arriving late. Unfortunately, she doubted Gold would be able to come up with such an ingenious plan or see into the future. He might be cute, but tactics and planning ahead was not always his field of expertise.
Spotting the scrape on his cheek, she automatically assumed that he was fighting. ”Y-You were fighting too!? I seriously can’t believe you! Where’s your mom? Who’s supervising this party? Why is there alcohol!?” Crystal could not help but throw question after question at her careless and irresponsible childhood friend. A look of concern appeared on her face as she gently placed her cold hand on his cheek. ”Hmph, you really are an idiot. Let’s go clean that up…” She grumbled as she grabbed his hand and dragged him to the bathroom. She was surprised with how well she remembered the boy’s house and immediately found the bathroom. Crystal looked through the drawers for some antibiotic ointment and pointed her index finger at the sink. ”Wash your face, Mr. Party Host!” She commanded as she continued searching around the bathroom and hopefully would be able to find some band aids.
Post by RUBY on Jul 3, 2010 8:25:08 GMT -5
One moment Ruby, Pokémon Trainer and Battle Tower obsessive, was walking on the sidewalk –his shoes softly padding against the earth worn smooth and the soft paw pads of his Absol slapping softly and unevenly and the next there was a tiny blue ball of fury trying to rip his throat out. Well, alright maybe it wasn’t exactly like that, but you had to admit when something blue darts towards you with enough speed and strength to break all your ribs and the only thing that saves you from that is your faithful Pokémon companion you could only think the blue thing was trying to do you some kind of harm. It happened so quickly that he didn’t even remember the exact commands he gave afterwards, hell he could barely remember what happened. Only that one the second a Phanpy was trying to kill him for reasons unknown and the next Eris had made quick work of the reckless thing. He simply stood there, eyes wide and breathing hard, the canine-like Pokémon besides him doing something along the same lines –her perfect white fur only slightly ruffled because of the quick battle. Panting –more out of the sudden adrenaline rush than anything else he leaned his hands on his knees, trying to make himself calm.
He straightened himself and motioned for Eris to take a closer look, the Disaster Pokémon obeyed –padding closer to the ball of blue and pausing only a few feet to make sure it was unconscious. Her eyes lifted to meet her trainer’s and she gave a nod, plopping down to a sit as is to emphasize the point that the other Pokémon wasn’t about to wake up soon. Reassured, Ruby walked closer peering at it and noting a few scratches all around its anatomy –they were light and barely trickled blood but it was obvious the Phanpy had taken a beating. With that thought he met the Absol’s crimson eyes and flashed a wide grin –she responded by ruffling the fur around her neck and turning her head to look around the neighborhood. He looked around too knowing for a fact that this was the home town of… some fellow… short… with a hat. He turned to catch Eris’ eyes and frowned –the Absol just responded by sending her trainer a blank look while Ruby shook his head for that damned name. Gold, he remembered, yes, that’s right the cocky bastard said this was his home town and…
He also had a Phanpy.
Ruby paused in his thoughts and nudged the Pokémon with the heel of his shoe –it didn’t move or blink. In fact if it wasn’t because it only had scratches covering its leathery hide Ruby might have thought it dead. “What do you think?” he asked turning towards Eris “Should we leave it here or…?” but before he could finish his words the Absol was already shaking her head, giving a dramatic sigh.
And that’s how Ruby ended up standing at Gold’s doorway with an Absol by his side, an Absol carrying an unconscious stinky elephant slung across her back with obvious carelessness –like it was merely a shopping bag, there only because it was. He wasn’t sure what he expected but he certainly didn’t expect this he also hadn’t expected for Gold to just leave the door to his house wide open but hey! He wasn’t complaining –it was ruder to just barge in. His crimson eyes narrowed as he took in the scene before him –there were plenty of people, in fact quite a cluster of them and at first he wasn’t quite sure what he was seeing besides people. Then he took in the clean state of the house, the music vibrating through the walls the social maybe jovial mood of the scene and his stomach dropped to the floor with something like dread. Oh Arceus, he could only think a party, seriously what the hell?. He was already shaking his head slowly, determined to dump the ugly bag of blue before Gold and quickly making his way out before anyone would dare speak to him –or even glance at him. And if he was glanced at may those glances turn to withering glares –they made him feel important. Eris padded heavily behind him, not at all pleased with the burden when suddenly people started moving.
He wasn’t completely sure what he saw but he only had half a second to recognize the short man stomping his way forward, swinging his arm back then punching a taller someone in the face. Almost at the same time a young girl who could be no older than himself was scooped up in the arms of a much older looking man and taken away from the scene. Half a second later a brunette girl he recognized as Leaf hauled Gold away while a guy with spiky brown hair and a hoodie knelt down besides the figure on the floor. He wasn’t sure what to pay attention to but his eyes settled on Leaf as he saw a shift of movement –the girl took the hat from Gold and promptly slapped him, she then waltzed away into another room while the Hoodie Man stood up and left just as Leaf returned again –a napkin in hand. She then wiped the figure’s face like one would a snotty child and then marched back into the room Hoodie Man went. Then out of nowhere another girl appeared and dragged Gold to another room.
He wasn’t sure if to roll in the floor with laughter or run away screaming.
They all seemed rather tempting.
But he just stood there waiting for Gold to reemerge from the bathroom.
In the end, however, he settled for motioning to Eris to make her way around the room in his wake. Ruby walked as if he was simply another person in this whole party determined not to draw attention to himself as he made his way towards the shorter and older trainer. He paused to consider how exactly he was going to word the situation but allowed himself no time to think and simply opened his mouth and let the words spill. “You had a dead elephant at your door,” he said, gesturing towards the Phanpy on Eris’ back “I figured I’d bring it inside but now I’m not completely sure that was a good idea…” he said, his eyes dropping to the floor where the trainer Gold had just punched lay –he recognized him as the Kanto Champion and although he interest had been piqued as to why the people were here (and getting punched in the face) he decided not to press his luck. “Anyway,” he said, ripping his eyes from the stream of blood that was trailing down Red’s upper lip “You can have the funeral service now since it seems all your friends are over…”
He shrugged and Eris, her patience having run thin and wanting to get rid of her added weight promptly dumped the Phanpy in front of Gold’s feet and straightened herself with as much dignity as she could muster.
OOC: The post doesn’t freaking make sense because I began writing it before Crystal posted but just finished and refreshed the page to find it there, tried to fix it but yeah, too lazy, so a few laws of physics may have been broken in the making of this post and yeah, just ignore it until Gold comes out of the bathroom then =.=;; (so not including anything else in it –too lazy).
What in the world was going on at this party? He just wanted a get-together, it goes to seven minutes in heaven, and then what? Red decides to go off and get drunk, he gave him the punch he deserved for being an asshole when he wasn't even invited by Gold himself. Then he gets slapped with his own hat, what in the world was wrong with Leaf, anyway? She was the one who had invited Red...and a couple other people, in the first place. Gold saw Blue's hand coming right before it reached his head and quickly swung his hands up to clutch at the sides of the baseball cap to keep it from flying off, why were people continually trying to off his hat? Were they trying to get him pissed off. He glared at Blue as he made his way into the kitchen, frowning as Blue picked up the bottles of liquor. What? Was he planning on getting drunk, too? Gold guessed that this assumption was correct when Blue brought one of the dark bottles up to his lips and let the acid liquid seep down his throat, just a couple gulps before he brought it away and began looking around, only several seconds passing before he gulped down several sips of the other bottle. Disgusting. Gold crossed his arms across his chest as he turned to watch Leaf hand the drunken man a thin napkin, muttering just a few words in her prescience. Gold just couldn't understand drunken people at all, one minute their bubbling stream of words, the next their stammering like a little toddler. Soon enough this party was going to be full of just a bunch of drunken idiots, Gold would have nothing to do with it. He wasn't going to drop down to such low measures at a party like this, at least, not if he could control himself for once. I mean, just look at Red now, he was making a complete fool of himself, too bad he didn't have a camera or he'd have snapped a couple pictures of the bastard by now, some kind of blackmail for later. He didn't say anything in reply to Leaf's comment as she stood up to go take care of Blue, walking off towards the kitchen he just took the time to process in what he was suppose to do now. He could just go ahead and kick Red out of his house, but he guessed that there really was no fun in doing that. Not to mention that Leaf would probably get after him if he just threw the champion out.
Gold's attention was suddenly brought to the door as the gentle sound of a knock appeared to sound from it, but he pushed it back into his imagination as he turned his attention back to Red, who was still looking like a complete idiot collapsed on the floor. Oliver and Platinum seemed to have vanished off somewhere and chattering had increased as the people began to shrug off Red's recent mishap. He didn't notice the blue-haired individual step into the room until she walked up to him and began speaking, "Woah, Crystal!" His voice a much louder addition compared to the quietness of his childhood friends. "Thought you'd never get here." He stated, a sloppy grin posed itself across his lips. He wasn't sure what was probably going through the females head right now, coming in on all the pedos and drunks.
He wasn't the least surprised to hear all the questions that streamed after her first remark, so maybe he was fighting, his mother wasn't here, he was supervising the party, and he had no fucking idea where in the hell the alcohol had come from. His body flinched when she touched his warmed cheek with one of her own cooled hands, seriously, was she just worried about the little scratch? It was nothing he couldn't handle, but it was obvious that Crystal thought otherwise as she grabbed his hand and tugged him down one of the hallways and into the lighted bathroom, someone had obviously failed to switch off the lights when they had been in here earlier. "Hang on!" Gold complained, as she let go of his own hand and began searching through the drawers of his own bathroom, he almost seemed like a different person when around his childhood friend, "I'm not a little kid anymore; I can't take care of myself." He said. Embarrassed by the way he was being treated. Weighing the actions of just totally ditching her and going back to the party or. . .well, actually listening to her. He finally decided to go with the second option, he didn't really want to face Crystal when she was pissed, there was already enough going on outside. Actually, it felt pretty decent to get pulled away from it all, he wouldn't actually admit it, but he needed something to cool him down. "Oh whatever." He exhaled a sigh and held his hand out to switch out the water, splashing a couple handfuls of water on the bruised side of his face, he grabbed a towel and dabbed at it, feeling the slight sting as water crossed over the scratch. "There!" He exclaimed as he tossed the miniature towel onto the white countertop. "Happy now?" He glanced at Crystal who was digging through all the cabinets of his bathroom, probably looking for a band-aid or something, not that he needed one. "Geez Crys, just loosen up a little, it's nothing I can't handle," He smiled at her as he grabbed her wrist and pulled her out of the bathroom, heading back towards the party, not much had changed there except that...
Gold stared in disbelief at the white-hatted boy that stood at the doorway, his matching white beast stood next to him, but it wasn't exactly the site of this uninvited guest that put Gold into a moment of disbelief, it was the creature that was slung over the Absol’s shoulders that put him into a momentary shock. It was the tiny blue elephant that he had allowed to roam around his household for the day. "Rolan!" Gold couldn't hold back the single word that forced its way out of his throat as the male approached him and spoke a few statements, rage filling Gold's bloodstream as he tightened his clutch, completely oblivious to the fact that his hand was still wrapped around Crystal's wrist. He could feel his body as he was being pulled to swing yet another punch at the party, it had to take what little mind power he currently had working to keep from following the movements his body wished for..
He could barely register what Leaf was saying. She was smiling or something, though, so he assumed whatever he had blurted out had worked in his favor. "I hope you're talking about me and not the napkin," He grinned sheepishly at her remark, his hand snaking upward to run through his dark hair. "You,"
He piped, although he couldn't remember for the life of him what he had said. She wrenched the napkin from his dazed, quivering palms and leaned inward to help him. His breath quickened when she touched his nose, reminded vividly of the crackling horror that he had brought upon himself by touching his nose. He recoiled with a groan but she was a relentless one, coming after him with that napkin like it was no thing. His shaking hands tried to knock her hand away, but he didn't have the coordination and ended up just smacking the air blindly. It was an awful few seconds of his life but then she stood up and walked over to Gold, saying something he could not make out from where he sat brooding quietly. She tottered away to the kitchen where Blue had run off to. Were they going to make out in the comfort of an empty room? It was plausible. He put a palm to his forehead and let out another groan. Red had to get up, lest get struck from his position on the floor by a very angry Gold. He found his legs to be jello-like at this point, wobbly and shaky like he was just learning to take his first steps. He pressed his palm against the wall for leverage as he slowly found his way to a kneeling position, one sneaker scuffing the floor as he pulled it out from behind him. He got to his feet hesitantly after a few minutes. Gold wasn't standing there. Hell, everyone in the crowd had dispersed. However, Red's eyes fell on a particular sight. A white-capped lad with a funny looking dog. On it's back? A familiar looking blue mammal. One he had seen before. He raked his fogged mind for answers. Gold had one of them funny blue dogs. The champion drew in a ragged breath. Was it dead? Did Ruby kill it? Perhaps it was to get back at Gold for punching Red. Was Ruby psychic, or had he been here to witness the one-sided brawl. He turned his head at the sound of a door opening and the boy who often adorned himself in yellow shorts came out holding a girl with the oddest haircut Red had ever laid eyes on. Apparently Gold was trying to get back to being the host of this mess. Then... he stopped, his golden hues falling on the particular scene that Red had watched incredulously just moments ago. Ruby strode across the floor towards Gold, which was perhaps the worst thing he could do. Words fell from his lips but they were drowned out by Gold's melodramatic cry. Red's fingers knotted in the hair at the base of his skull, scratching at his skin with a blank expression. Gold drew his arm back to take a swing at a sober teenager. Being the non-sober person that he was, he waltzed over to the trio standing there. Somehow, ungracefully as he was, he prowled around Gold and Crystal until he was behind the little Johto brat and threw his arms around his neck, squeezing with the might great enough to crush someone's windpipe. "HAHA! Isn't he a character? Punching everyone in sight?" He slurred like the drunk he was, but his voice held a dangerous edge despite his normally easy-going nature. He was a bipolar drunk, going from flirty to near useless. Maybe it was time for a violent turn? He could always round on the short one and wail on him. Was that simply too needless of violence? Mentally he noted that ladies were not that fond of boys who reacted in needless violence, unless they were as adamant in their affections as Blue-Haired Lady. She couldn't even look at Gold funny. "For what he lacks in character he sure makes up in anger management problems." For a drunk, he could sure use big words. Maybe alcohol just made him boisterous. Now he was just making yaoi fangirls scream while he stood behind Gold, pretty much leaning all his weight onto Gold. He smirked deviously and craned his neck until his mouth was near the Johto brat's ear (he had to lower his head signifigantly, you know 'cause Gold is short?). "You'll be legal this month, right?" The voice that slipped from his coral lips were oddly seductive for the heterosexual teen. Either way, he got to embarrass Gold and make him flustered. Beautiful. ooc; red is supposed to be the uke lolwat. so why does he have to initiate this? WAT IS THIS?! The black-headed male relaxed his tensed shoulders as he tried to get himself under control, who knows what Crystal would do to him if he swung another punch. Not to mention, the Absol standing by the white-capped male seemed like a fair enough opponent to him. A frown crossed his chapped lips as he finally parted his fingers from their clutch around the blue-haired girls wrists, and dropped to pet the unconscious elephant, its breathing jagged as it tried to get any possible oxygen through it's lungs. It really wasn't a site to behold, the broken creature, what a totally perfect was to ruin a party. Funeral service, Ruby had stated, did he think that his Phanpy would hit the dust so easily, even if he probably had been caught by complete surprise. Rolan opted to be a highly territorial Pokémon sometimes, it wouldn't really surprise him if the red-platted mammal had made the first move on Ruby, but why the hell was Ruby even wandering around in the dead of night. What time was it now? Twelve, one? It seemed like so much time had passed since the beginning of the party, and so much shit had gone down. He was starting to doubt his earlier decision to completely avoid the acidic drinks. He was probably going to need them before the night had ended.
Gold's attention was brought to another approaching individual by the sound of the heavy footsteps of a certain, drunk, individual. Oh Arceus. He groaned, straitening his posture as the drunken man waltzed his way over to where he was standing and, to much of Gold's displeasure, threw both arms around his neck before he could make a move to stop him, squeezing with such a force that the Johto trainer was near positive he was going to pop a blood vessel and bleed to death, no worries about suffocating. "Let me go you damn homo." The shorter trainer gagged, pulling at the arms of the drunken male, his stubbed fingernails scratching at the males tanned skin as he tried to seperate his neck from the fierce hold. Unfortunately, it seemed that Red, although drunk, seemed to have a lot more strength in his grasp than Gold could muster into his free hands. Gagging as the scent of stale liquor seeped through his nostrils, ripping away the scent of fresh air as he could almost taste the foul smell.
The more Red talked, the more Gold was starting to feel he had even more of a reason to throw another punch, but his current restricted position prevented any sort of aggressive movement. Not to mention, because of Red's tight grip around his neck he was having to force every breath of air down his squeezed windpipes. His entire body heaved when Red's grip loosened as he added on the weight of the rest of his body, coughing as he gasped for lost air to reach his lungs. As the Kanto Champion craned his neck to whisper into the Johto trainer’s ear, Gold could feel the hair on the back of his neck begin to stand on ends, each breath of liquor-tainted air that reached past his ear sending a chill down his spine. The words that Red spoke were the final straw for Gold. "What's that suppose to mean?!" He exclaimed, the words forcing a rosy-tint of flustered embarrassment to cross his cheeks as he squirmed to free himself from the taller boys grasp. He swung his body around in an attempt to shove himself away, but in the process, tripped over the bruised and broken elephant and fell backwards, bringing not only himself, but Red along with him as he crashed onto the carpeted floor.
The entire incident led into something that Gold was completely unprepared for, with Red's arms still locked around his neck and nothing between them to block any of the mishap, Gold found himself, completely sober, on the ground in a full lip-lock with his completely un-sober, and male, rival. One could almost hear the yaoi girls scream as Gold lay in complete, and utter, shock on the flattened carpet. His current situation not completely seeping through his brain until a few seconds passed, at which his entire face turned a beet red and he made several frequent attempts to part his way from the drunken bastard. No other thoughts even made an attempt to cross his mind at this moment, all he wanted was out of the awkward situation.
Hazard felt the wind push her long locks of blonde hair behind her as she drove in her wonderful car. With one arm on the wheel and the other hanging out by the door Hazard mumbled curses under her breath. Most of time she liked it when she had a case to do or maybe a chase to help out with, but this time it was just a ruckus at some kid's party. Hazard hated to deal with those. Most of them weren't even serious to begin and it becomes worse if she had to drive a damn long distance. With her free arm Hazard reached over to her PDA, which was ringing. She pulled it out from her pocket and flipped it open. It was from one of her superiors. The message really wasn't anything too important but get her job done, all that jazz.
The police sirens echoed in the night sky as Hazard continued to drive towards her destination. A few other vehicles were behind her, in case she needed some backup if the party was serious. Her PDA rung again and Hazard's eyebrows rose when she now got reports of signs of under age alcohol use and some inappropriate games. Now Hazard sat up more straight in her driver's seat with both hands on the wheel, her foot on the pedal to faster. "Alright boys, looks like we need to crash a party, pronto!"
She yelled back over the sirens and winds. Moments later Hazard made a screeching stop by the house. She was one of the first arrive, with her other cops parking soon after her. She approached the door, not even bothering to think the idea of knocking the door or ringing the doorbell. With a good kick Hazard burst through the door, making quite the entrance. "ALRIGHT! PARTY'S OVER, KIDS!" She stood there arms crossed while a faint smile slowly appeared on her face. She took a few seconds to take in the images she saw. It was a mess, really. "Well, what do we have here?" Her other men entered after her and began to search around the house in case anyone tried to run off. She stared at the smooching young men and chuckled a bit. "That's enough, boys. She said in a rather stern tone. She also noticed a man who carried a young girl. Her eyes widened a bit at the sight. What the fuck was this?! "HALT!" She shouted at him. "Drop her. Follow my orders, refusal will result in you getting arrested! Oh screw that shit!" She approached him with her handcuffs ready. "Clearly this party has gone way out of hand."* * * * * "Tsk, tsk, tsk. Such irresponsible teenagers." One of her men came around again and whispered in her ear. She nodded as he told her what he found. ”Oh, I see then.” She walked around at the gathered group of teens taking slow steps. ”So, we have a disrupting party at night. We also have under-aged drinking involved as well as some highly inappropriate games too. Come on, you’re all coming with us. Stay silent, as whatever you’ll say can be used against you.” OOC - SHIT ARREST POST IS SHIIIIIIT 8C [/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote]
Platinum wasn't really in a good mood at all. She barely knew any people at the party, she pretty much looked like an outsider trying to stray away from the crowd. Well, what do you expect form a girl who grew up in Twinleaf Town?! Platinum wasn't an outgoing city girl or something she took this as a rather large get together, but clearly it was getting crazy in here. Let's not forget to mention, besides Leaf, the only other person she even recognized was drunk and couldn't recall her name properly. Letting her anger loose wouldn't be smart, which was why Platinum pushed him away from her. Of curse right after she did so that's when a lot of things happened and so fast too. Platinum heard somewhat of a fight going on or something, even though she pretty much only heard a thud.
Then suddenly she heard a voice behind her and before she could turn around the girl was suddenly scooped up in another guy's arms. "Huh? What the?!" She never knew how to react to such things. Her face completely spelled out confusion. It was Oliver, or well he said he was Oliver. He seemed to be quite a charmer or something, easily speaking to her in such a tone even though a lot of other things were going on. "You're Oliver? Wait, what? I don't think cutting in line's a good idea! The whole entire game wasn't a good idea! Why did I agree to this?!"
It was when her eyes widened when she was being carried away into the closet. What. "Oliver do you mind putting me down, please? She asked, almost demanded. She obviously never was put in a situation like this. And it only got worse. Cops barged into house. Only on word popped into Platinum's head when she first heard the cop yell. NO. TO make things worse, one of the cops, a younger blond woman, seemed to catch the sight of Oliver and Platinum. Her eyes froze in terror, locked onto the cop coming closer. She ordered for him to drop her. Perhaps she was just a victim here, but her thoughts were off a bit. The cop seized him with the handcuffs, she turned out to be rougher than most women she'd seen in her life. "Can this get any worse?!" She buried her face in her hands out of pure embarrassment. Oh dear Mesprit what would her mother say about this. oh shit, was all that ran through the replica's head. Maybe today wasn't the best day to not care about the rules and to pick up some random underaged girl in his arms. You know, it might have been oddly accepted in ziel for something like this to happen. But wherever the hell he was it turns out it wasn't. He put down the girl, Platinum, and let out a long sigh. He ran a hand through his black hair and gave the cop a long look. She didn't seem that much stronger then him. A confusion would probably send her to the ground and he could escape unharmed, and without being sent to jail.
Then again, she might have her own pokemon. Plus all these other trainers and cops probably had pokemon. Running away from them all wouldn't be the smart of an idea. Oliver opted for another sigh as he thought of other plans. "Now lady, don't get me wrong." he started already knowing it sounded bad. "Aw shit, nevermind. I don't think I could talk myself out of it." he added chuckling slightly. "But seriously, go arrest the kids that are getting drunk. I haven't done anything yet." he added with a simple smile on his face. He held out his arms and willing let her handcuff. The azelf replica shrugged his shoulders and turned ot face Platinum. "Nice to meet you deary, I hope nothing bad comes out of this." he added, sticking out his tongue and then was herded off to stand in the circle.
Worst party he had ever been too. What was up with this weird/lame town.
Well shorty here was positively livid. He had waltzed out of the bathroom with a girl with blue hair in toll and his eyes had quickly fallen to the unconscious Phanpy. There was a moment were his face was simply a mask of frozen horror and then he exclaimed loudly enough to make Ruby flinch and the Absol growl and hurried to the stinky elephant’s side. Ruby stayed rooted to the spot simply because he wasn’t quite sure what he expected to do –his eyes narrowed as he watched the disgusting scene of the baby crying over his broken toy. The head snapped to meet Ruby’s crimson eyes and that’s when he saw the anger in his eyes. Eris snapped forward as it attached to a spring and the trainer’s muscles tensed waiting for the obvious violent reaction and there it was –he threw his fist back but before either could make another move or respond he seemed to relax, well at least his arm did the rest of him was coiled up and ready to rip some throats open. Ruby eyed him warily and Eris bared her teeth, her eyes narrowed to black slits as she waited for either retreat or offense. But nothing happened.
Well, nothing of what he was expecting anyway.
Instead the man –Red stumbled forward in what Ruby could only think of as a drunken waltz and wrapped his arms around the shorter trainer, giving Gold’s throat a tight squeeze that was enough to stop the airflow out of any breathing being and his assumption was correct because immediately Gold snapped his cheeks flushing a ruby red when he realized who exactly had taken a hold on him. "HAHA! Isn't he a character? Punching everyone in sight?" he slurred and Ruby arched a brow at the pair. Not that there was anything wrong with an older teen clinging to another’s shoulders, especially if they were of the same sex, nope, nothing at all. He simply flashed a fake smile and slowly shook his head from side to side as it to indicate disbelief or something equally quizzical and took a step back from the two, not wanting to get involved in any of their squabbles, provided they seemed kind of occupied with each other. "You'll be legal this month, right?"
He arched a brow, not quite sure what was the correct reaction when you saw an obviously drunken teen clinging to an unwilling companion’s back, half sure there was no correct reaction except gape or puzzle at.
He went with the latter and watched as Gold protested against his captor’s hold. "What's that suppose to mean?!" he groaned –cheeks flushing and even deeper color. Ruby smirked mischievously to himself and caught Eris’ eyes thinking all the while: Drunky and Shorty sitting in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G but he decided he had seen enough and was more then ready to give the love birds some space but he had barely taken five steps back when Gold started trashing in Red’s hold, trying everything, clawing at the older trainer’s arms in order to get free and the whole ordeal took a turn for the worse. Ruby tilted his head to the side along with the Disaster Pokémon as they saw the balance tip and for a minute it seemed as if the two were suspended from only a light string that would break or snap at any moment. And break it did because soon the two plummeted down to the ground the awkward hold one had on the other twisting them around in such a way that the taller trainer landed atop the shorter one and their lips against the other’s.
Of course it was only logical cops would take exactly that moment to barge in.
First Eris’ head snapped up –having caught something, some strange sound in the distance as Ruby began walking away from the scene. Immediately he paused and watched as Eris cocked her head to the side and frowned. Ruby frowned as well wondering what the hell she was listening to that made her look so wary and then realization seemed to dawn on her eyes and she wasted no time to react. Her white head swiveled round and her teeth clamped down on ruby’s shirt and started dragging him away in another direction of the house with such force that he simply ended up stumbling after her. What she had in mind was beyond him but she released him only when they were standing in front of a table and with a forceful push of her head made him sit down. He wasn’t quite sure what to say and settled for looking at Eris as she had gone insane but the Absol just shook her head and set her rump on the floor next to him, pressing her head against his leg and pushing his hand with her nose.
Although deeply confused Ruby lifted his hand and ran his hand through the sleek fur on her head and she seemed to relax, sitting down in a more relaxed pose.
He very much wished she explained but the Absol just closed her eyes and let herself be petted.
Just then the cops barged in through the front door and immediately pooled into the room. Ruby wasn’t quite sure what he was seeing but he was pretty sure his eyes widened and they quickly started filtering through the party gooers and in dear need of some support he leaned his head against his hand in order to stop his head from smacking repeatedly into the table. He was frustrated, yes, because he only just walked in and of course there goes the neighborhood –not to mention the dead elephant still lay in a bleeding clump next to the two teens that were still sprawled on the floor. He even caught a glimpse of something that caught the light and he lifted his gaze to see that the older man was in some kind of trouble for having a younger teen in his grasp but he couldn’t help but wondering if it really looked that bad. For all they knew the girl sprained her ankle and hurt herself and he was in charge of the whole entourage so he was taking her to somewhere comfier for medical attention… then again the girl was clearly protesting…
Oh well, it wasn’t his problem.
A growl grumbled on Eris’ belly as one of the guards got closer but Ruby immediately set his hand on her head and lightly ruffled it to calm her. “Hush, girl,” he cooed “No need for any of that, just relax,” he said softly digging his fingers into the Absol’s white coat and hoping that alone would ease her discomfort and it did. She only hesitated for half a second before breathing in what sounded like a sigh and with another sigh of his own he let himself be lead into the circle where the rest of the party gooers were being recollected or dumped into.
Apparently Gold didn't really like his attention all too much. He was gagging and thrashing and calling him a homosexual. Well that was rude, he just wanted to show his appreciation to the host? His stomach churned with a mixture of giddiness and booze as he leaned into Gold with a laugh. His feet scuffed against the floor as he stumbled, but somehow remained balanced thanks to Gold's ability to hold him up. At least, at the moment he could. The boy grinned wolfishly as the boy exclaimed to his last question, a rosy hue fluttering across his pale features. He was obviously flustered by drunken Red's ability to ask questions suggestively without growing hesitant. He had no small angel or demon sitting on his shoulder arguing the pros and cons of his actions, merely his brain functioning without reason. No thought involved, just simple commands for his muscles to move jerkily and completely shatter Gold's reputation. it was an easy feat for the Kanto Champion.
Gold swung around in a mess of anger. Red was absolutely befuddled by how the boy had managed to squirm around in his bone-crushing grip. He loosened his grip, ready to relaese Gold, but the somehow got them both tangled up. He was trying to let go of the minor, but the little shit was tugging at him and trying to get away, inevitably tripping over his dead, blue puppy and dragging them both down. Gold hit the floor first, probably completely winded from tackling the floor. Red had pretty much untangled himself mid-fall, but that wouldn't help his coordination. He fell like a dead weight onto Gold, groaning as his breath was stolen, among other things. An odd feeling settled in his stomach alongside the giddiness and alcohol. A giggle passed his lips, but it was muffled and obstructed by something. Oh, it was just Gold and his face.
At first, the other trainer didn't react at all but then he was pushing and prodding Red, who got off of Gold, sorta. He untangled his body from the Johto brat, breaking the kiss as he settled his weight on his hands and knees. His face was only a few inches away from Gold's and he just laughed at the boy pinned underneath him. "You like it."
The champion taunted, his voice dripping with derision. His pale fingers moved underneath Gold's chin, applying pressure to make his head tilt backwards. He craned his neck, seeking the odd feeling he got when their lips first met. His lips were just a painstaking millimeter from Gold's when a feminine voice cut through his foggy brain. "That's enough, boys." He paused, his eyes fluttering open to peer up at a younger woman scolding them. "Eh?" He lifted his head completely and pretty much rolled off Gold, staring up at the cop in a drunken haze. Somehow he had missed the entire freakin' army busting into Gold's living room. He sighed as some random cop guy hustled over to him and demanded him to get to his feet. He almost had half a brain to exclaim 'but I don't want to!', but the shimmering, cold metal dangling over his head proved to be a good attempt at keeping him quiet. After trying to get to his feet a few times, he finally managed, only to find himself wearing the cold handcuffs on his thin wrists. The boy sighed in exasperation, toddling after the rest of the kids who were being herded outside. "This sucks balls." His mood changed haphazardly and suddenly he was moping quietly under his breath. He had finally gotten to kiss someone at this stupid party and the cops just had to come and ruin it.
