A decade ago, a deadly epidemic swept through the Kingdom of Cameron. Pokemon, humans, and even plants were affected by the strange, foreign disease, and much of Cameron was killed and destroyed. Only through the efforts of the Guardian of the Tree, Mew, was the Kingdom saved. The few survivors were stricken and devastated by the tragedy that had fallen upon their Kingdom, but they thought the sickness was gone and never coming back. They thought they were safe. They thought it was over.

They were wrong.

Now, ten years later, Pokemon and humans have began becoming ill again. Plants around the Kingdom have started to wither away. Signs that the sickness has returned are undeniable, yet some still continue to deny it. They don't want to believe that there will be another epidemic. But most do realize that the sickness is back, even if the truth is hard to accept. Many hope that Mew will once again save them. But there is one problem.

Mew has vanished.

Very few know about Mew's disappearance. No one knows where Mew has gone. But without one half of the whole, the other half cannot survive. With Mew's absence, the Tree of Beginning is slowly dying, deteriorating from the inside. As the sickness continues to spread, the Tree is in danger of being completely destroyed, and with it, the entire kingdom of Cameron. And now, it's no longer just a struggle to stop the epidemic.

It's a race.

The Tree of Beginning is a beginner RPG with no character or word limit. ToB is loosely based off the movie Lucario and the Mystery of Mew, and is set in the Kingdom of Cameron. We are a fairly new site and always looking for new members.
