~{The people & us}~The people have lived as long as long as we can remember. They killed, caged, and tamed us. The copper skinned people were here before the white skinned people. The copper skinned cared for us and did what they needed to do to survive. We understood their killings. After the white skinned came they took the copper skinned and treated them the same as they treated us, miserable. After many years, the copper skinned were being treated better and better as we were being treated worse and worse.~{The disappearance}~No one knew what happened. Only humans died, none of our own kind. Many believe that one of their reactors went off and put a gas into the air, but that’s only a rumor. Cars and bodies littered the street. The world fell quiet and dark.~{The changes}~30 years have passed and we've learned a lot about the humans life. Many of their structures have broken or are no longer recognizable. Including other reactors and dams and been broken and changed some of our lifestyles. Plants have started to cover up what was once the places of the copper and white skinned. House animals have become wild. Rodents and small animals have little numbers. Many endangered animals have multiplied. We are animals that have lived and excelled.
